Vacation rentals with a fire pit in North Hempstead

We just left yesterday and my family has already asked to go back! A beautiful, well-kept home with privacy but minutes from everything. The property looks exactly like the pictures. It’s cozy yet spacious and includes a lot of opportunities for relaxation. All of the survival touches did not go unnoticed. We appreciated every detail! Johanna was the ultimate host and was very responsive. We hope to go back when it’s a little warmer so that we can enjoy the pond and pool.

The home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Carol was a great host, friendly and always available to answer questions. Carol even kindly helped re-route packages that arrived for us after our departure. I would recommend the property to anybody looking to stay in the area or to be close to the surrounding areas.

My brother and his kids really enjoyed it. Upon arriving, the kids were exploring like it was Christmas morning - all excited and happy. Everything needed was there and the neighborhood was safe.

Welcoming and responsive

Beautiful and serene location. Our families stayed here for a wedding weekend. And with everything going on, our weekend experience was enhanced by this beautiful house. The house is conveniently located, with easy access to the arterial roads. It’s also very thoughtfully furnished. The host, Michael, goes the extra mile by setting up for guests with small details like starter groceries and sufficient snacks in the pantry. It’s these small touches that made the difference.

This home was perfect for us. Our family gathered here for the holidays and we couldn't have asked for a better place. We even got snow, which just made everything even more special. The home was cozy and the setting on the lake was beautiful. We would definitely chose this place again.

We live nearby, but had lots of family together for the holidays and couldn't all fit in one house, so having Ike's place within 10 minutes was extremely convenient. The two bedrooms were just what we needed! Ike was very understanding of our situation and very responsive. He let me know a few days ahead of our stay that the new washing machine was in need of repair and wouldn't be available for us to use, but offered to give us a card to use at a local laundromat. I thought that was very thoughtful! Thankfully, it wasn't an issue for us since we had access to our own washer & dryer. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house except for sleeping, but everything was very comfortable! :) Ike e-mailed us the directions for getting into the house, accessing the Wi Fi and all the information we would need on where to find things. He also listed all the directions before checking out, so we didn't have any questions while we were there. Thanks, Ike!

It was easy to communicate with Adel and Veronika who lives downstairs was very friendly. Might consider staying again if I visit up north again.

We had a great stay at Tam's apartment! Very clean and beds were comfy.

Ave Union is our home in NJ. We always stay here whenever we come to NJ and it has always been the best and still is the best! Everything stated on the descriptions are true and even way better. Nicole has been very attentive and kind to us, including every staff there. I didn't get everyone's names but they all have been the best. We love staying at Ave, it's a very safe location where you could also stroll or jog at the same time, perfect train access right outside the place. Going to NYC has been so easy! We are proud to say that we always will choose Ave, it's got all the things you need and the entire place is so cozy. We are so grateful for everyone's kindness and appreciate you all. I definately recommend this to anyone coming to NJ or NYC. It has always felt like a home and you can even hangout downstairs for some hot drinks. Thank you so much Ave, Nicole, and all the staff and neighbors. See you guys soon again. You guys take care always!

Mabel was a great host, she was able to extend my stay at the last minute which was perfect because my husband and I needed rest before we took our 9 hour drive back home. Clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family vacation.

Space was perfect for what I needed. Love the area and look forward to staying there again. Kitchen was great for meal preparation and was just what I needed.

Candy and Will were great hosts.. Responsive and informative about the apartment. The apartment was as described -clean- comfortable- easily accessible and warm. ( January weather!) The neighborhood was great for a morning walk.. The bed was incredibly comfortable.. just what I needed after a 4 hour drive.. And a comfortable room with a cozy gas fireplace! Would happily return.. We had a terrific stay at Chester and Bella’s. The cabin was very cozy, with everything we might need and some very nice personal touches. It’s just down the road from some truly excellent hiking. Quiet and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. We experienced the first snow here, it was absolutely peaceful and serene. The cottage is located on a spacious farm, offering a perfect blend of privacy and convenience, with restaurants, grocery stores, and the train station all nearby. Communication with George was excellent—he checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Great stay would def recommend to anyone trying to get away for the weekend and relax.

Great location! Only 6-7 minutes from mt Peter and 2 minutes from the town of Greenwood lake. The main bedroom is huge and the house is perfect for a small family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Roksana's place. The cutest little artist cottage, and about a 15 minute drive to downtown Stamford. The breakfast is perfection, I definitely recommend it! 5 star accommodations in every aspect! We will definitely be back.

This lil cabin was truly a home away from home with all the extra perks. We enjoyed a romantic night in the outdoor hot tub and the fireplace made our stay so cozy! We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin. We’re so thankful that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make our snowed in weekend complete. We even had fun with the games we played in the upstairs loft and game room. It was an overall 10 in my book! Would love to book again in the summer to check out the lake firsthand! We loved staying at the cabin. It has all the basic amenities, soft towels, and a comfortable bed. The view of the lake is elevated which lets you see a wider view of it,which was beautiful. We walked down by the lake and just got to spend time decompressing from everyday life. The cabin was cozy, well heated, with nice little touches like board games and cards. It was (expectedly) cold during our stay so we didn't get to do as much outdoorsy stuff but there was a lot to offer in the area. We can't wait to come back during the warmer months! The only cons that may matter to some: there's a road between the cabin and the lake, which leads to some road noise. The shower water pressure isn't the best,which was ok for me because I have fine hair but I know some would have a difficult time with this.
