We had a wonderful time at Hannah snd James’s. Exceeded our expectations.

This was our 4th visit to Ryder Hollow, we just love it here. The barn is such a comfortable, inviting place to relax, the property is beautiful and peaceful. After a trip to the Bloomingdale Bog Trail where we fed gray jays, red breasted nuthatches, and chickadees by hand we tried it at the house - it worked! What a special way to connect with nature. We also discovered the Curious Otter in downtown Lake Placid. The photos were breathtaking and the owner was a delight.

We have celebrated the last two Thanksgivings here and couldn't ask for a more ideal setting or a more dedicated host. This impeccably furnished home nestled between the mountains and the town accommodated our group of 11 family members perfectly. Any questions or issues we had were quickly addressed by Andrea, whose helpful recommendations for the area and thoughtful little touches throughout the home made our stay truly special. Looking forward to returning!

This home could not be more convenient if you are exploring/enjoying downtown Lake Placid. the interior is clean and everything is exactly where you expect. bedrooms are cozy, beds are comfortable, and the living spaces are very homey. The host was super communicative and our stay was fantastic.

Picture perfect stay! The cabin is “as-advertised” base on the photos and description. The location is quiet and serene. Majorie was super kind and helpful. She was available for our needs all time throughout the day. Highly recommend taking a canoe out on the lake and going for a swim across from the property. An easy 15 min paddle across will take you to some nice rock outcroppings with crystal clear water for a nice evening dip. Town is a short 10 min right for one night out for a good meal. Def recommend staying on this property!

This is an absolute gem among the woods and water. Peaceful is an understatement and serene doesn't quite do it justice. It's a place to step back, slow down and unplug from all your cares, worries and realities. You'll get the basic necessities and the time to unwind and relax. This is a well placed, well thought of and we'll out of the way home away from home. But in it's tranquility you'll not be far from the everyday needs of everyday life as town is a quick drive over the mountain. I highly recommend the Cochran cabins for a peaceful escape from your everyday life.

Ted the husband of Catherine was so Nice. it was great to share with him. the home was perfect. in the kitchen we had all for cooking...the quality of beds perfect.. very nice chalet

The host is wonderful and warm. The cabin does offer true feel of Adirondack vintage cabin that has added a kitchen and bathroom. I would go back again.

Michael’s place was perfect for our group of 8. The common space was comfortable and well-furnished. The cold temps did not allow us to enjoy the porch but in the warm weather it must be sublime! We made full use of the well-appointed kitchen. The little butler’s pantry was a great place to store non-perishable items so the kitchen counters remained clear. Each room had either an en suite bathroom or one right next door. Everyone loved the water pressure. We felt like we were away from it all but very accessible to town. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay.

My husband and I had the most magical time at Qing’s place! We wanted to get out of new jersey and go north for thanksgiving in order to enjoy some snow! And oh boy, how lucky we were. The views from this apartment were incredible. There was a snowstorm the day after we got there and it snowed for 2 days straight. It was gorgeous. The apartment is close to many hikes, and downtown lake placid and saranac lake were awesome beautiful spots to walk around. The apartment was clean, had cooking essentials and we really enjoyed the porch and fire pit.

Great place with a great view very close to everything we wanted to do up there. Their restaurant was great and so was their other recommendations. The house itself was beautiful and cozy everything we wanted for our vacation!

Absolutely loved this cabin for our quick weekend getaway!! Beautiful surroundings quick trip to the center of town and the kids had a great time playing in the snow!! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed!! I will definitely be back!!

We stayed here for the first time. Easy to get around. Quiet location and the room had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Friendly stuff, great location

If your planning on doing any group activity in the high peaks area, this is the spot to stay. Located right off the main trail head to Algonquin and Marcy peaks. Place was cozy, clean, and much larger than I originally expected. Great experience all around.

Great place to stay. House was big, private and had lots to do. We'll stay at this same place every couple of years when we return.

Beautiful cabin on the water where you can go down and have a coffee on the dock on what feels like a private lake (despite seeing some other homes you rarely see/hear people). Cabin is really cute and spacious. Especially beautiful as the leaves change

A perfect getaway spot, deep in the ADK's. Close to an ideal little market in Keene, and a short drive from terrific hikes (ADK Center). House was perfect for three couples, cooking, sleeping, etc. No AC, but plenty of fans and open windows helped cool at night. We'll be back!

We loved the beautiful setting and the waterfront access. This location has everything you need to escape city life and really enjoy nature and the real quiet of nature.
