Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

Communication was great. I left my diary and Clare and Jaymes offered to send it asap. Broughty Ferry is a lovely place to stay and we really enjoyed the break.

Stayed for 3 night over new years to see Stirling, family and surrounding areas. Felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Kids loved it to. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Cottage was MUCH better than expected based on pictures. Garden fabulous. Just few mins through lovely park and in main st. Loads lovely glasses. Nice wee touches like shampoo, herbs. Lots of room. Already planning return trip. Thank you.

This was a fabulous property, well maintained and beautifully presented. The rooms were all good sizes and accommodated our group well. The most attractive element for us was thefabulous open-plan living area downstairs which was fabulously spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with a viariety of hot drinks and condiments/oils etc should be cooking (we weren't) and a small co-op is only a few minutes walk don the road. Portobello High Street is 20-25 minute walk and the beach just a little bit further. Nadine provided great recommendations for both eating out (Forresters Guild was fabulous) and take-away (Cinnamon for Indian). What was an incredibly sad trip to Edinburgh for a friends funeral was made far more pleasurable staying in this lovely home where we could all spend time together.

Very nice apartment in a convenient location. Tram and bus stops are just a block away. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen is a little tight so don’t expect to do much cooking, but for light meals it’s no problem at all. I’d definitely stay again on future trips to Edinburgh.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this Airbnb! The location is fantastic—perfect for exploring the old town. It’s just about 25 minutes by tram or bus to Edinburgh Castle, and only a 10-minute taxi ride, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The house itself is incredibly family-friendly, with lots of toys and books to keep the kids entertained. The fully furnished kitchen was a huge bonus—everything from the cooker, oven, and microwave worked perfectly, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The host has really thought of everything to make guests feel at home, and we truly enjoyed our time here. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and family, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Rachel was an amazing host and we enjoyed our stay. The property is in a good location - with the best of Edinburgh within easy walking distance and it was very close to a nice shopping centre too. It was also conveniently located for Carlton hill and you can even see this from one of the bedrooms. It’s a nice flat with lots of quirky decor details which make it a fun place to stay. But above all, Rachel was great - helpful, responsive and flexible too. Thank you for helping us to have a great stay in Edinburgh!

My mum and I had an amazing stay here over Christmas! The place was so homely and cozy. Daniel had set it up wonderfully with Christmas decorations to make it feel like home, and had provided milk, juice and snacks. It was super easy to check in and the place was very clean and tidy and spacious. Easy walking distance to both the new and old town areas, we didn’t need to catch public transport once. Daniel was great with communication before and during, and very helpful with recommendations. We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much!!

Great apartment location with everything you could need (especially bits in the kitchen!). Easy to get into the city centre on the no.23 bus! Would definitely stay again if coming back to Edinburgh.

We booked the flat for a few days for my Dad to stay over Christmas. The flat was ideal, Craig had left a few Christmas treats, which was really appreciated. The flat was spotless and my Dad felt right at home. We will definitely book again!

Exactly as described and as per photos. Very well furnished and beautifully decorated. Had everything we needed. Beds comfortable. Spacious and very clean throughout. Easy to access. Parking outside property. Sainsbury’s nearby. 25 mins walk to the centre. Diane provided us with lots of information before our stay and was always on hand if we needed anything.

A very good stay in an excellent apartment overlooking the harbour

We had an amazing break at 12 Golf Place, the absolute best location ever! Great apartment, very well kitted out. Really comfortable beds and good showers. The flat was cosy and welcoming. Alastair was an absolute dream to deal with. I would have no hesitation in returning and in recommending the accomodation.

Went to visit family with our new baby. Elspeth was very accommodating for us and allowed us to arrive earlier than check in (travelled 6 hours so wanted to set off early). She was easy to get hold of from the point of booking the apartment and always replied promptly with lots of information. The apartment was lovely, easy to find and right on the harbour with amazing views. Very spacious and clean with all the things you need for a getaway! Would recommend and would 100% stay again if visiting.

My 2 friends and I were looking for an affordable yet great place to stay on our short trip to Edinburgh. This was the perfect location, few min away from the beach with beautiful views. The host provided clear instructions and provided answers to any questions throughout the stay! The place was as described and super clean.

JoAnns apartment is in a great location in St Andrews, close to excellent restaurants and bars. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and presents a home from home environment with books to read, games to play and all the facilities you would need if you decided to self-entertain or cook in the apartment. There’s lots of up-to-date information available about St Andrews and the surrounding area. I would not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity arises.
