Bellevue Farm Cottages - Garden Cottage

CelinaRating, 5 stars83 months ago
Ailsa & her husband gave a very warm welcome to their cozy and well-equipped cottage. The quiet surroundings and very comfortable bed made for some great sleeping, and I was thrilled to open the curtains one morning to see a red squirrel scamper across the garden. The cottage is a very short walk from Blackwaterfoot, and we thought that the food at the Blackwater Lodge was especially good. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage (and on Arran)!

Farm setting, rural, peaceful with coastal views

FreddyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Heathers cottage for a golf trip, and it could not have been better. It was extremely convenient location to everywhere we wanted to go, and Heather was extremely responsive and accommodating. From making a late night arrival easy, to adjusting the timing on heater around our schedule, you couldn’t ask for any better. Our entire group was very pleased, and had nothing but positive comments. Would highly recommend staying here

Seaside Cottage at Scalpsie Farm

TerryRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a great few days on Bute with the extended family. The house is in an excellent location , a short walk down to the best beach on Bute, very peaceful and superb views across to Arran. Just a short drive from the ferry terminal in Rothesay, and also to the Kingarth Hotel (can recommend for lunch or evening meal).

The Summer House

WilmaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The Summer House exceeded our expectations. It is more spacious than it looks on the photos. It is very nicely furnished and decorated and is cosy and warm. Penny has thought of everything to make your stay an enjoyable one . Her directions to get there were easy to follow and she recommended several places for us to visit also with clear directions . Archie, her husband , is also very knowledgeable about the island and is very approachable. All in all, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend a stay at Knockenkelly.

Isle of Arran Crofter's Cottage at Heather Park

WillRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay in lamlash. Kevin was a great host who was very flexible when we had an extra last minute guest. Lots of communal space to be together as a group and absolutely incredible views from the conservatory. Lovely garden and remote setting which worked amazing for us but would be a big walk up the hill if you were wanting to wander into the village so car definitely needed. Kitchen well equipped and all was clean and tidy. We'd definitely stay again.

Dunfion-Ravens Gully Arran Luxury Hideaway For Two

HeatherRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a fantastic time! Our hosts were lovely and our dog was so happy here too. The place was spotless, and we made great use of the outdoor seating area. Such a peaceful setting with lovely views of both goatfell and the sea, as well as the sounds of the birds and the sheep - truly a great getaway. Only 5 min drive from all the shops/pubs/attractions in Brodick, or a half hour walk. Would recommend this place to anyone if you are looking for a relaxing break!

Adorable 2 bedroom granny flat on quiet but accessible farm.

PunitaRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Mandy is a welcoming and friendly person and instantly makes you feel glad you booked with her. She was responsive to questions, provided detailed directions and was flexible on my arrival time. Mandy was always available throughout my stay yet wasn't intrusive. She made sure my needs were met - nothing was too much trouble. She has a wealth of knowledge about healing animals and helped me with my dog! Overall my dog and I loved the cottage...quiet, private, comfortable and warm. Decent sized kitchen and bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it as well as your Host, Mandy! Was a lovely bolt away for New Year!

Dhunan- Ravens Gully Arran Luxury Hideaway For Two

RobRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed at Raven's Gully for a short break and could not have been happier with the place. Our pod was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything you need. You self check in, which was remarkably easy, and our host Barbara came to check everything was OK shortly afterwards and was very helpful providing ideas of things to see and do on Arran. The pod is fitted with all sorts of smart tech and we particularly enjoyed the music system which sounded great. The welcome package was fantastic with all sorts of local goodies in it and definitely provides a good start to the stay. Unfortunately we didn't get to toast the included marshmallows on the fire pit outside as the infamous Scottish rain decided to stay with us for nearly the whole stay but if you get lucky with the weather, sitting outside with a drink or two around the firepit would be a very pleasant experience. We are looking forward to coming back to Arran and Raven's Gully again soon.

Millburn Mini Farm Experience

SteveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay here was absolutely perfect. Mags introduced us to all the animals on arrival and answered each question we had about them in depth. The surroundings are beautiful and the hut itself had everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was one of the many highlights of our stay and despite the peaceful environment, we were never short of things to do! Thank you for making our stay so brilliant Mags and John, we will most certainly be back! 😊

Balmory Stables North, luxury stable conversion

Suzanne Rating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. The house exceeded our expectations, with peaceful surroundings and lots of space for the whole family to enjoy, including a garden. It felt lovely and secluded and yet was a short drive from Rothesay and all of the amenities there. The wood burning stove was an added bonus, and made the place feel very homely. Ulrike was a wonderful and very thoughtful host, who even brought some games and toys along so that our young children had something to play with on rainy days. Overall, Balmory Stables is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Clauchlands Bluebell, Lamlash, Isle of Arran

SusieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful week in the cabin, me my husband and 2 kids (9 and 4). It is small but perfectly formed and kitted out with everything you need. The layout is well defined and the decor is lovely. It even has picnic tables on both sides of the house so you can catch the sunrise and the sunset! The kids loved the swing and trampoline and outdoor toys. It was a great base to explore from and a cosy hideaway to return to. Thanks so much! High recommended.
