Gîte "des Ecuries" 8 pers au Château de Beaumesnil

florianRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Ideal stay for two families with children able to share bunk beds. No wifi, but we are not at Beaumesnil castle to spend your time on the web. The real interest of this cottage that remains expensive is the access to the castle park which is most of the time closed: a door to the cottage overlooks the interior of the castle, with an access in a huge garden full of farm animals, a paradise for kids, peacocking, geese, sheep, ducks, ducks, goats, pony. We were even able to visit the Chateau de Beaumesnil for free, the drawbridge was down. The heater works perfectly. Only Repproche: a corkscrew was missing… and that… would almost deserve a star less haha. Dear, but EXCELLENT VALUE for MONEY for families with children between 5-12 years old, especially to discover the countryside. Very proactive, nice hosts, hosting the castle in support. Super flexible check-in and checkout. (we left around 5pm) Congrats!!!
An expansive green lawn frames the historical chateau and adjoining building, both surrounded by lush trees. The chateau features a distinct tower and classic architecture, while the barn showcases rustic charm, highlighting the peaceful countryside setting.

Chateau estate, 90 min from Paris, 16 people

ArnaudRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Perfect weekend with friends at the Miserai. The Chateau is very pleasant despite the weekend temperatures (-8 per night!). The hunting room was perfect for hosting the anniversary of the weekend! Celine recommended a good catering address to us and it was very convenient. The brewery on the estate is not to be missed.
The exterior of a traditional half-timbered house is framed by lush green hedges and bright yellow flowers in the foreground. The brickwork and wooden beams create a charming rustic charm, while a satellite dish is mounted on the roof, indicating modern conveniences.

Château Le Mont Epinguet 7 bedrooms Sleeps 15

SophieRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Our stay at Chateau Le Mont Epinguet surpassed all of our expectations-- it's truly beautiful and Fiona and Mark are beyond friendly. We went as a group of 18 and still found the house incredibly spacious-- you'll never be on top of one another! The gardens outside are lovely and provide lots of spots for sunbathing/reading (and so spacious we even got in a game of rounders). The kitchen has as much crockery as you might ever desire; there are several excellent and large supermarkets within a 15 minute drive (better quality produce and more economical than any British supermarket). Above all-- I cannot express the warmth and kindness of Mark and Fiona-- they're exceptional hosts who attended to any queries we had and provided a wealth of excellent beach & restaurant recommendations. A beautiful chateau, a wonderful (eccentric) interior, with lovely gardens (esp. the palm trees), and great for friends who wish to spend some time stuck together.
A spacious property is depicted, featuring a two-story building with multiple large windows adorned with shutters. A well-maintained garden area is visible in the foreground, showcasing a decorative planter on a grassy lawn. The structure reflects classic architectural elements.

MANOIR DE PLEAC GITE 5*, 4 BEDROOMS WITH POOL

PierreRating, 5 stars33 months ago
This is such a lovely manor and our family truly enjoyed our week there. Stephanie was a very attentive and generous host, providing everything from fans to help cool our rooms during the heatwave to getting pool floats for our children to use, high chairs, and local cider which was refreshing and delicious. The home itself is gorgeous and spacious with comfortable beds and sofas and everything one would need in a kitchen. We enjoyed the chickens roaming around and the sweet dogs who would come by to say hello. We invited local family over for a BBQ and everyone commented on what a lovely space it was. The only feedback would be that it would be helpful to provide a guidebook of some sort when you arrive so we could figure everything out for ourselves, for example listing any necessities that guests should anticipate providing if staying more than a few days, such as bin bags, dishwashing tablets, laundry detergent, etc., although, with Stephanie living on the property as well, it wasn't a problem to ask her directly. We felt very well looked after, had a great time and would be very happy to stay here again! Merci Stephanie!
A grand château is depicted, showcasing a mix of red brick and ornate stone detailing. The structure features distinct pointed roofs and decorative turrets. Surrounding greenery includes neatly trimmed hedges and colorful landscaping, complementing the building's historical elegance under a clear blue sky.

Very spacious apartment, particularly quiet, ideally located, properly equipped and impeccably clean. Be careful though, the castle, and good part of golf, are in an almost white GSM area. Communication with Catherine is high quality Check-in and check out are very simple.
The image shows a historic stone building complex under a clear blue sky. Features include a round tower and multiple entrances. Lush greenery and tall plants line the pathways, while a sand-colored pathway leads towards the entrance, creating a serene outdoor environment.

It doesn't get better than this. Absolutely incredible. Latour is super friendly and helps with everything. The castle is gorgeous and flawlessly renovated. Wonderful rural location with a small town surrounding it. So full of history, it's a once in a lifetime experience. Absolutely loved it.

Chateau de Tocqueville, heritage to share

ZheRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Staying in Stephanie and her family’s Chateau de Tocqueville was absolutely a five star experience to us. We spent three night here in the castle but found it’s absolutely not enough to experience the property. We could utilize four floors with five stylish bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and salon on the ground floor plus the pond, tennis court, biking area…and more. It’s a perfect place to spend a few days or weeks. We spent a few hours to read Alexi de Tocqueville’s books (but only finished one fifth of the book) in the place where he wrote the book, the feeling was so special and we felt like becoming the witness to the history.

16th century Manor / Mont Saint Michel's Bay

PolonaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The chateau was everything we thought it would be from the moment we drove through the gate. The serene setting was welcoming and inviting. The gardens and landscaping were lush and picturesque. Upon entering the front door, we felt like we’d been transported to the 16th century. Wood floors, flowing draperies and richly colored walls all add to the general ambiance. There are numerous bedrooms from which to choose, playrooms for children, spacious living and dining rooms and a kitchen meant for gathering. The kitchen is well stocked and the fireplace warms the rooms and its inhabitants. The two outdoor tables provide opportunities to enjoy the setting while sipping wine or eating a meal, Marc was very accommodating. He offered suggestion for things to do and places to shop in Sartilly.
A serene pathway leads toward a distinguished castle surrounded by tall trees. The manicured lawn extends in front, while soft lighting fixtures line the path, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The blue sky is visible above, enhancing the tranquil setting.

La Maison Villeneuve - Charming Castle - Entire

Beautiful home in the French countryside perfect for a large family getaway. We had a wonderful time with 7 adults and 4 kids swimming in the pool, cooking out, and playing cards all night in the large dining room. It is convenient to D-Day beaches and a cute little spot nearby along a river with nice restaurants.
A spacious living room showcases elegant furnishings, including two vibrant red chairs and a plush green sofa. A large mirror and a chandelier are positioned above a decorative fireplace, with tall windows allowing natural light to illuminate the room and offering views of the garden.

Nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Beautiful chateau with modern amenities. The location was so peaceful, no city noise. Adélaïde and her staff were absolutely amazing, they provide breakfast service for us daily and prepared a group dinner for all is us.

2 Bedrooms Jean François Millet at Manoir Martigny

MassudRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a wonderful and underrated spot. Firstly, Wilfrid was an amazing host. Always available, very attentive, and Gallic hospitality at its best. He was extremely flexible in all aspects (from check-in, use of spa, and time to eat breakfast). We mistakenly slept in one morning and we were able to eat a proper breakfast at 1130. Extremely clean and a serene environment. A very immersive Normandy experience. The house is very old but fully renovated as it is a passion project for Wilfrid who has spent generations in the house.
A covered heated pool is surrounded by a spacious wooden deck, providing an area for relaxation and outdoor dining. A BBQ is located nearby for convenience. Lush greenery is visible in the background, enhancing the tranquil setting.

🌟 5/5 - A perfect weekend in an exceptional place! We had an absolutely great weekend at this beautiful Airbnb. The accommodation is spacious, very well decorated and perfectly equipped. The pool was a real treat, especially with the beautiful weather we had, and the barbecue area contributed greatly to the friendly atmosphere of our stay. Small downside: the road to access the accommodation was not easy to find at first, and a light bulb and a showerhead were no longer working when we arrived. Fortunately, the concierge was very responsive, available and super flexible — everything was resolved quickly! The cleanliness was good, and communication with the hosts was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. A big thank you again for this beautiful break. We'll be happy to go back!
