Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nkangala District Municipality

We had an amazing time! Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can possibly think of! Kitchen basics the works. Views are amazing and the staff are super friendly!! The one thing that was very disappointing was the swimming pool. It was dirty after the rain. We requested they come and clean and get the pump going but no one came. Fortunately we had cooler weather but had it been warm throughout our stay this would have been a big frustration since we have young children. Based on expectations created the pool should really recieve more attention.

Such a lovely house. So much character and charm. The pictures don't do it justice. Really enjoyed our visit there, will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

We had a wonderful weekend. The service is excellent. Great spot for bird watching. Had great fun with the canoe and then a dip in the pool! Just such a beautiful, relaxing space to be in.

Just what we needed for a few nights while attending an event. Clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely veranda overlooking a private garden on which to relax in the evening . The cottage is on a working farm with pigs, chickens sheep and more, with the to be expected animal sounds and smells.

Hi Jackie, We really, really enjoyed every moment we stayed at The Trout and Butterfly, we felt safe and we had everything we needed. No having Wifi was a problem for us! My dog enjoyed sniffing around this beautiful home! A big thanks to Sannie, she too care of all the cleaning with a smile, even on Sunday!! My children enjoyed fishing and cycling in the beautiful country. We will surely will visit Dullstroom and The Trout and Butterfly again. Thank you for everything! Jolene.

Absolutely perfect peaceful getaway! Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space to walk with the dogs. Perfect place to curl up with a book and read to my heart's content. big bonus that there is no cell phone signal. Spacious and fully equipped. Very pet-friendly!

Angela's Wooly Bugger Farm is a hidden gem! The peaceful surroundings, stunning views, and fantastic fishing opportunities made for an unforgettable stay. Angela was a warm and welcoming host. We can't wait to return!

We had the best stay at The Eyrie - easy to access and locate, clean and well equipped, plenty of room, and incredibly comfortable overall. Checking in and out was a breeze. This was my first trip to Dullstroom, so having a lovely place to stay made this even more memorable.

The hosts are divine and the cottage is delightful with the wide open garden with roaming buck is really just gorgeous and peaceful. A total delight!! The dirt road drive from the main road is a bit hectic. We were in a small car and after the rain, had to drive extremely slowly to avoid the potholes and craters, so it added about 20 minutes to our travel time. Can highly recommend though, it was perfect for our overnight needs.

HI Paul We had the most wonderful time! The surroundings are beautiful, and the house is magnificent, it is cozy and cute and so easy to relax and live in. Our children loved the patio and the dams and spent hours walking around. We loved the fireplaces, beautiful and well-equipped kitchen and the stunning main bedroom. There was literally everything we needed, from a fan to a hairdryer to a bottle opener and beautiful flowers on the table. And we were so surprised to realise that the house was serviced on a daily basis - what a treat! We would certainly return to visit your little slice of heaven. Thank you for affording us with this opportunity.

The view was spectacular - we had a wonderful stay!

Really had a nice time here away from the city. My dogs really had a good time in the garden and around the farm. Perfect place to connect with nature. Our host Bev attended to all our needs.

The place was more beautiful than in the pictures, more than enough space for my family and the Christmas decorations were a cherry on top. Zaza was extremely helpful with all the questions we had. There was just an issue with the alarm that kept going off and security was blaming the young kids even after we blocked all the plugs that he claimed were causing the alarm to go off, apart from that we had a wonderful Christmas stay and would recommend this place to everyone I know, very satisfied with the booking
