Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nishinari Ward

My husband and I stayed at Megumi's apartment for a month. It was perfect for two adults who need comfortable space for a long stay. Megumi and her husband reconfigured one of the 3 bedrooms into a work space for my husband by removing the extra beds and setting up a desk and chairs. He also used it as a closet and dressing room. The second bedroom was emptied of furniture and set up with a mat for me to use for exercise. The kitchen was fully stocked (except no coffee maker) and there were ample supplies of towels, soaps, shampoo, tp, etc. The neighborhood has great markets, especially at Wiste mall near the Nodahanshin subway station, 10 or 15 minute walk. We enjoyed local restaurants (La Strata, Blackstock Pub and several sushi bars). Megumi is a fabulous host, very responsive and friendly. We highly recommend the apartment for large families traveling together or just a couple who wants space!! So glad we found it.

5-night stay with family. Great experience. Convenient location: 5min walk to Ashiharabashi JR, 8min to Imamaya JR, bus to Namba nearby. Spotless house with fully functional kitchen, appliances. Nice kitchen/living layout. Separate toilets and bathroom, though single bathroom may require scheduling with larger groups. Quiet residential area and very safe with a police box (Koban) very close to the house. Upper floor rooms also had access to a balcony from which I would have loved to do stargazing at night however unfortunately it was cloudy all the nights we stayed there. Overall great stay and can easily recommend to someone looking for a longer stay in Osaka.

We enjoyed our stay at Ohara's place, it was clean and convenient and comfortable. We'll come back again.

The house is clean, the common activity space is large, and the kitchen is large.Kitchenware, toiletries are all very complete, the overall accommodation environment is quiet, not noisy at night, suitable for quiet rest.There are also many convenience stores around, and it is very close to the nearby subway and jr stations.The host was also very responsive. Thank you very much. It was a great stay.

This was the PERFECT place to stay on a recent family trip. We had 10 of us total and still had bedrooms to spare. It was great to have the common area on the main floor away from the bedrooms so we could have a place to nightcap and relax all together. If I'm back in Osaka with a large group this is the way to go! About a 7 min walk to the station where you can get anywhere you need. Convenience store around the corner, cute coffee shop a block up and loads of food within walking distance.

We stayed 4 nights in Yaya's old house. The apartment is not located in the center of Osaka but very close to the train station and bus stop to connect to all the tourist attractions of Osaka so it is very convenient to travel. The old house is wonderful, clean, fully equipped, especially the Onsen bath which is very useful after a day of exploring Osaka. Yaya and Winnie are very supportive, they reply to our messages all the time, even when we texted them almost midnight (because we came back quite late from playing). We love them and we love this old house.

Wow! What a wonderful place and gracious host! It was a breeze to book, make arrangements and find the apartment. Chul exceeded all our expectations. We were already happy with the many rooms and great facilities like the lift, but Chul also provided additional items like welcome snacks and drinks, electric heated mattresses, travel adapters and even a luggage weighing device! Chul also took out the trash daily and offered to do our laundry for us. We initially wanted to do our own laundry because there were so many of us and we just finished out Tokyo trip, but in the end, we accepted her kind offer and it was really useful because we could have more rest time after a long day out. Highly recommend Chul’s place! Would love to stay here again when we visit Osaka next time! Will also recommend It to my family and friends!

Japaku is always my first choose during my holiday in Osaka

We had an amazing stay and we would very much like to visit again. The location is great (just a few stops from Namba / Kurumon / Korea town, close 7eleven, close to a park). The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. And the internet connection was very fast (north of 500mb symmetrical). The host was also very responsive.

Very good location. You have several different trains, which go easily in every direction. The space of the apartment was very good for 3 people.

We loved this neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful, with a big park and shrine right opposite the house, within walking distance of a lot of things. Cosy and clean home, if you want to experience the real traditional Japanese home, this is the place. Yu-Ki is friendly and very responsive, ideal host :)

We absolutely loved this house - it felt like it had so much soul!! Would have loved to stay for longer in fact… Really comfortable and in a very nice neighbourhood - super easy to get everywhere but peaceful and quiet. And inside everything was SO well organised, labelled, etc., just an absolute joy!

Hide’s place was great for our trip to Osaka, very close to amenities/train stations and so many things to do around the area. Hide was also an amazing host - very friendly and helpful and left us some amazing recommendations! Would definitely stay here if we were in the area again :)

Place is so nice and cute. A perfect mix of traditional and modern Japanese home. Place was accessible and is so near Osaka Park. Host is kind and accommodating. Would love to stay here again.

Staying in Koyabu-San' place is one of our best drecision in Osaka. Definitely experience like no other guesthouse, very authenthic japan experience (one of them is low table set on tatami flooring) amidst of the concrete jungle and modern Osaka buildings. Amenities on this homestay is also great! Koyabu-San is also kind and welcoming, very proactive and reliable providing our needs. We would recommend anyone to stay and we are sure to visit again if we drop by in Osaka! Very convenient we can store our luggage before check in time. There was some accident, we accidentally carried the house WiFi router charger, but the owner very patient and kind and willing to wait us to return the cable. Very recommended.

We enjoyed staying at your lovely Airbnb! It was located in a perfect location less than a 10 minute walk from the main area of Dontoburi. But far enough away that it wasn’t noisy. The airbnb was spacious and comfortable for our party of 3 adults. The walk-in closet was great to store our luggage and keep our clothes organized. Yosh even kindly stocked the refrigerator with eggs, ham, bread and water to get us started. We really enjoyed our stay in Osaka!

honestly loved the place, very easy to access for transit, amazing host who was responsive and kind. the pocket wifi was amazing for my trip and helped me save too! will be back for sure!
