It was a nice place, nice environment, big place

We managed to book the airbnb at an discounted price (~130USD/night) during a weekend. The sea view and the large tub were impressive. The apartment is close to the local bus stop. There’s a Japanese restaurant at the neighbouring hotel which offers very nice omakase at a reasonable price. Overall, highly recommend at this price point. Would be nicer if salt/pepper and oil were provided. Also the window shades were a bit dusty.

It was spacious and had a lot of amenities, so we had a fun and comfortable stay!

Fudoki was an excellent host and their place was the perfect place to hang out in in Shirahama. Centrally located (Sako-no-yu is less than 5 minutes walk) and very spacious! A very well functioning house that I would recommend to anyone. Fudoki even organized a taxi for us as we do not have phone service in Japan, such a kind thing to do. Very appreciative of this host and their property.

From the time of booking to the day of the reservation, I was in touch with the co-host, but I was relieved by the quick response. The place is also well organized and cleaned, and I think it is very beautiful. The sauna, etc. didn't have the impression that it was installed, and I think all the entrance doors of the building were renovated unexpectedly, but I was very relaxed.Especially the sauna and bath! The sauna has a very good smell of wood, has a tidy space, and is easy to access with the bath.The bath is also large and easy to enter, and the hot spring is very pleasant. Although it is detailed, it is personally good to have two toilets or outdoor wet slippers!! The dog run is also quite spacious, and even large dogs can play well. I think it's a very good place to total. A little negative... * The parking lot is difficult to understand, so I think it is better to check in advance. You can park a large car or a low-height car, but it is quite difficult. It is better to make your luggage somewhat compact and easy to carry.You will be a bit of a walk through where there are stairs and steps. Depending on the season, mosquitoes and insects are amazing, so it would be very helpful if you could put mosquito coils. It is a bath, but there was a stick, so I think it was partitioned before, but I think it should be installed with curtains or smokes. I wrote a lot about it, and overall I am very satisfied. We stayed relaxing in very quiet.B BQ equipment was also easy to use

Pretty nice place to relax after one-day hiking. The room located on 2nd floor is really big, equipped with dinning room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. And the house holder is quite warm hearted. On check-out day, I woke up too late to miss the bus so he drove me to Takijiri Oji, thanks too much for that.

Ah this is by far the best place I have stayed at. The hostel itself feels like a ghibili movie dream. It has plenty of nooks to fall asleep in or relax- perfect gateway from busy life. Its clean, spacious and feels right at home. The best part about this place is the people of Susami- its like you don’t just book a hostel, you book an experience of Susami. And, could not have asked for a better host than Sosuke- planning my next visit already. LOVED IT, highly recommend!

It was very beautiful and the children were very happy.It was a pity that the sauna and projector were not available, but I was able to enjoy my stay.

It was very clean and fully equipped.The location was straightforward and check-in was seamless.It was nice that the parking lot was free. I just bought ingredients for dinner.There are no condiments, so you may need to pay attention to buying flavored ingredients, etc.The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed cooking together in the morning and evening. The sunset over the sea from the bedroom and bath was very beautiful, and my first stay in Shirahama was a pleasant memory. Also, there is a washing machine with dryer function, so I appreciated being able to wash and dry my bathing suit and towels after swimming and take them home. I was able to watch YouTube on the TV, so I enjoyed playing my favorite videos and music. It was my first time using Airbnb, but I found that I could stay in such a well-serviced place at a cheaper price than a hotel, and I had more options for my upcoming trip.

Great place, good to stay a few days to enjoy all points in Shirahama, and you can cook if you want as the kitchen is fully equipped. The view of the apartment is beautiful.

I stayed for one night, but I wanted to stay a little longer! It is a place where you can relax. The location is great with a panoramic view of Shirahama Beach! If I get another chance, I want to use it!
