Charming Bright Apartment, walk to Shimokitazawa!

MeechaiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a fantastic stay at June’s apartment in Tokyo! The place was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean, modern, and well-maintained. It’s in a super convenient location, just a short walk from the train station and right next to a convenience store, which made everything so easy. The apartment was perfect for our family of five, including three big kids (ages 12–16). It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. June went above and beyond—she even came in person to welcome us, explain everything clearly, and made sure we were well taken care of. We really appreciated the thoughtful free gifts too! Although coin parking nearby is a bit pricey, that’s quite normal in Tokyo, and the convenience of the location more than made up for it. We highly recommend June’s place and would definitely stay here again!

Very near to Keikyu-Kamata station. Around 8-10 minutes. The place got all the amenities that we need. Dryer facilities downstair with just 100 yen for 10minutes. A bit of distance from city center but we choose this accommodation because we want to be close to the Haneda Airport so its a plus point. Only 10 minutes to Haneda Airport by train.

Room is clean and spacious. The house is well equipped for living. Aircon is in great working condition if u want it hot or cold it can do both well. Water kettle to boil water is very clean too. The only con is the bed. It is smaller than a queen size bed. Thank you.

Had a great stay for about 26 days. It's like renting a real apartment and living there. You need to make your own food, buy your groceries, clean your clothes yourself. The only thing I missed a little bit because it was summer was a freezer, but with a supermarket a few minutes away you can buy the ice there. Station is about 15 minutes, but I always enjoyed the walk there. You can walk along a beautiful river for a bit to get the station. I didn't have any contact with other guests or neighbors, but the walls are thin and you can hear them sometimes. I can fully recommend this apartment if you don't want the hotel experience and more of a living experience

#201 / Shinjuku/Shibuya / 2 bedrooms / love cats

KathleenRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Masami’s apartment was perfect for our family of four (two parents, two teens). We prefer to avoid cookie cutter hotels and instead seek to experience places that are a little closer to how the locals live. The cozy apartment fit the bill! It’s efficiently designed, with clever features such as a shower that also functions as a clothes dryer (no tumbling, so easier on your textiles, and it works incredibly well!). We appreciated how clean everything was, and how well everything functioned. The location was great, too — a stone’s throw from the metro, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but still nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Finally, the price was right — much better than piecing together two hotel rooms! We will recommend this place to any friends visiting Tokyo!

Ikebukuro Yokocho Whole Apartment 2 Rooms Quiet Residential Area 3 min walk to the station

RogerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It is conveniently located within a short walking distance from the subway station, convenience store, and many restaurants. The neighborhood is cozy and quiet. Host was very clear with instructions and responsive to our inquiries. The futon sleeping pads in the tatami room are quite thin - they can feel too firm for guests who are used to sleeping on a bed mattress. Overall this was a great launching pad for our Tokyo vacation. Thank you!

3min to Asakusa St.|New&Clean|Sky-tree|Wifi|1F

KellyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The place is super small and the laundry dryer doesn’t work and the host isn’t that helpful when it comes to the dryer other than to point out the closest laundromat. That being said, they are responsive and the place is clean. I would NOT recommend this place for groups larger than 2 people max. Ideally a couple that gets along in close spaces. Came here with my wife and 2 young kids and we stayed out the entire day to avoid being inside. The sleeping situation was decent for us but the rest of the place is insanely small. It doesn’t have a living room or even a useable eating area. Shower is so cramped and trying to use the sink is a major challenge for anyone taller than 5’5. I gave 5 stars cause the place is clean and host is responsive. That’s all we can really ask for as guests from a host. It worked out for us but it wasn’t a comfortable experience so know that when booking

We had a great stay here. It’s about 30 mins from the Tokio city center. There are restaurants and groceries around so you have everything you need. Masakatsu is very kind and communication was seamless. There is a hot bath at the same premises, unfortunately we did not have time to try it. Totally recommend.
