beautiful surroundings, huge space, we had a great stay and felt totally relaxed with a view of mt Etna. the only things that let it down was basic kitchen equipment, only 2 plates, no frying pan but loads of saucepans, wifi was not reachable to homestay3. these did not affect our stay, but thought you might want to know.

We stayed two weeks in one of the flats at Davide's place, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location on Mt. Etna is spectacular, with its volcanic landscapes, vineyards, and stunning view of the sea. Close by is the lovely village of Presa, where we enjoyed many of our evenings, far from the herds of tourists in the bigger cities. The flat is modern, spacious and comfortable. This time we used it mainly as a 'base camp' for pretty intense excursions to the Etna area, Madonia mountains, and the cultural treasures along the east and north coasts, so we didn't have so much time for wine tasting. However, we really enjoyed one barbecue evening with a selection of Davide's excellent wines - a treat for wine lovers, and anyone with an interest in natural wines in particular. All in all: warmly recommended!

Breathtaking view, calm countryside and yet right in the middle of all the places you’d want to see in north-east Sicily! 🤍 (e.g. 30 mins by car to Taormina, 30 mins to Alcantara, 50 mins to Etna-South) We got to spend five nights in Andreas lovely lava stone cottage and wished we had booked more :) The cottage is quite up the hill but definitely worth the ride. We had everything we need and more. Andrea is a wonderful host and provided us with great insider tips about the area. 10/10 would book again (but definitely prepare better against mosquitoes)

we spent a weekend in the comfort that the room offered us. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. We had the opportunity to light the fireplace making the atmosphere magical. Luca was always present, he responded promptly to my every question. We got what we were looking for: relaxation, Christmas atmosphere and tranquility

We spent a week on Davide's agriturismo and had the most amazing time. We stayed in the largest of the four apartments, with stunning views of Etna. Davide was the perfect host: upon arrival we were invited to pasta and a glass of his delicious home-grown red wine. There are plenty of opportunities for guest to interact with Davide; he organises regular wine-tasting and food events, tours of mount Etna, and in summer there's a small concert each Monday evening. At the same time you have lots of privacy and quiet: the other guests clearly also came to enjoy the tranquillity, the only sounds we heard were the crickets and the summer breeze. The house itself is very comfortable, with all modern amenities, and stays fairly cool during the hot summer. We definitely hope to be back! Amazing location, super friendly host, great view of Etna.

A very cool place on the side of Mt. Etna with vines growing on the property and there were young enthusiastic winemakers from all over staying nearby on the property working with Davide through this years grape harvest and they invited us over for a beautiful dinner and wine tasting and we got to learn a ton about the awesome natural wines the Davide and his team are making. Ended up buying a case from him the next day because these were the best wines we had in our whole 10 day trip around Sicily. Very cool to learn about what makes Etna wines special and to speak with experts in the natural wine business doing great things. Thank you Davide and the team, good luck with the harvest!

(English translation below) Monica and her husband Salvatore were fantastic hosts, extremely helpful and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome (and even gave us pastries from a local bakery) and were very flexible with check-in and check-out. My wife and I were alone for one night, but we would have liked to stay longer for several reasons: first of all, for the extremely beautiful and quiet location, surrounded by wonderful nature. The house is surrounded by an orchard with apples, pears and plums (and other fruit trees), so we were able to enjoy great fruit, perfectly ripe, freshly grown. Our stay was very pleasant. The chalet has all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including an outdoor patio overlooking the orchard, a loft with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Another advantage is that the chalet is quite high (about 1300 meters above sea level), so the temperature was lovely despite the heat of the Sicilian summer. This is the place to start to explore the beautiful Mount Etna and the nearby towns. Monica and her husband Salvatore have been great hosts, extremely helpful and available.
