Janet was very helpful and clearly knowledgeable about the place. In fact, she came right to our aid when our TV remotes did not work I cannot thank her enough.

Love my time there the views were amazing! Spent time here with my boyfriend and friend for Memorial Day weekend and got to unwind.

Clean, cozy private room with access to semi-private bathroom and living space if another guest is present. There's also a shared space with a full size fridge/freezer combo, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and tea kettle. Friendly host from day one who goes above and beyond to assure you feel right at home while also providing great local restaurant recommendations or things to check out during each season; You really get more than you pay for staying with Rod!

Five stars isn’t enough for this place. We loved our stay at Janelle’s house. She was so responsive to all of our messages (both prior to and during our stay) providing us with helpful information for our arrival/checkin and stay. The house is beautiful. From the moment we walked in it felt like home. It is clean, comfortable and well stocked for all of your needs. There are so many cozy spots to curl up and read, and a huge kitchen with everything you need. The location couldn’t be better, just a few minutes walk from the center of town and lots of shops, bars and restaurants and a great new brewery. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and will definitely be going back!

Convenient location for visiting family in Mankato. House was clean and as described!

Melanie is absolutely the best host I could have ever asked for. She was there for me for absolutely everything. I’m a med student from Brazil who was doing a rotation there so sometimes it’s scary and lonely to be away from home. But this place made me feel right at home and Melanie treated me like her own family. The room is huge, the bed is one of the most comfortable I ever slept in, the bathroom is super nice and big, the kitchen had everything I needed, and Melanie was hospitable and helpful in anything I possibly needed. She’s a very warm, kind and loving person, and I couldn’t be more grateful for having her as my host during my last month in the States. Definitely 5 stars without any doubt. Thank you again for everything Melanie, you’re amazing and your place is lovely, cozy and warm !

The grand was a great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable space. Would stay here again! Lots of things to do in the area as well.
