Nicole's house was perfect for our stay. I was travelling with my students and we had a lot of activities scheduled in the city so location was perfect. Super easy to jump on a bus if we needed to go anywhere too. The four bedrooms were large enough with beds for everyone. We were a group of 8. The lounge room and kitchen space are both very big and everything was very clean. The garden is beautifully maintained. There is a bit noise at night (mainly Friday and Saturday night) but that's to be expected if you stay in town. The house is very well secured and we felt absolutely safe. Nicole was outstanding in terms of communication and Caroline was wonderful too. I could not have picked a better place for our study tour. Thank you so much for everything we will will most definitely return in the near future. Highly recommended for large groups.

This beautiful villa was perfect for our extended family to stay. The bedrooms were fully self contained and set apart giving us privacy and quiet when needed. This is the most beautiful airbnb we have ever stayed in. We swam with a dugong on our very first snorkel, ate meals on the beachfront deck with a fire burning if an evening and played card games on the verandah with a French wine in hand! We were actually in the house when the earthquake struck Vanuatu (Dec 2024) and it stood strong, we were soooooo well looked after by the estate security, and the cleaning and gardening staff, we never felt unsafe. It’s a very pretty, private and safe spot for a family or couple, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Our incredible holiday in Vanuatu was cut short by the earthquake (Dec 2024) but we were very lucky as the staff at paradise point went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were safe. Thank you so much and also to the driver/tour guide recommended by our host who was with us during the earthquake and helped us. The local people were so happy and friendly throughout our stay and we hope that many more people will visit Port Vila when it is safe to do so. We loved our short boat trips from town to the house and back which were affordable and a lot of fun. They are a great option and will be essential to access the house until the road is repaired. Thank you haidi and your team in Port Vila for a fantastic four days. Stay safe x

We love coming back to Errollyn N Tristan’s tropical paradise that’s home away from home. There is everything you need or want. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms have everything you need. Our stay at Whispering Palms was amazing and as described on the wrapper. Spectacular, quiet, comfortable, relaxing. A special thank you Sylvie, John and Peter for the warm welcome, and hospitality. Their willingness to share the local culture makes the stay extra special. Thank you also to Cindy and Dean as well as Marcello for the responsiveness. Some practical advice for those staying at Whispering Palms: Cash is king (and not readily available) - Make sure you cash up in Port Vila as there are no ATM/Cash machines on that part of Efate and with the exception of some of the big resorts, cash is generally the only way to pay. Food - Go with a plan on catering for the first few nights (at least). We arrived in the evening, and although we had organised some food, we found ourselves trekking back to Port Vila for supplies for the 3rd night. Morrison has basics, there are some options in Port Havannah, but again, make sure you have enough cash for these. Absolutely loved our stay.

We really loved our stay at Vila View! It is comfortable, within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants, has an awesome view and a lovely pool to swim in. Jane was responsive to requests and really helpful. We spent 4 days here after spending 4 days at a resort and much preferred our stay at Vila View. We will be staying here again next time we visit Port Vila and would highly recommend it to others. Stop looking, you've found the best option!

Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

We had a fantastic time at Loic's place. As described it is about 45min drive from Vila so having your own transport is highly recommended. A representative form the management company met us at the airport and we followed them the property as it was after dark. This was really helpful as otherwise we might have struggled to find the entrance (its easy in daylight). Devils Point Road is unpaved but didn't really need a 4WD (we were there at the end of the dry season). The property is pleasant and set in a fantastic location with world class snorkelling from the private beach. Sam and his family, who live next door, look after the property and kept us supplied with Paw-paw and coconuts! Mele Beach is about 20 mins drive away and the Friday night Fire Show is highly recommended. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in stunning surrounds.
