What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Phillip is a very good host. He came to pick up us at the airport and gave us some adresses and tips. The house is amazing, with a big terrace, a swimming and two big rooms. Perfect to rest, chill and have good holiday!

We had a lovely time at Te Puka Estate, it feels like your own private slice of island jungle, but also being 5 mins drive from Muri Beach and the lagoon makes it a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were extremely kind and went above and beyond to help us, and their SPCA rescue pup Blue kept us company on the nights we stayed in. Highly recommend

If I could give this place a 10 I would. I loved my stay here, and really safe for a baby to stay. I recommend this place for anyone who’s coming to visit Rarotonga. You won’t be disappointed. It’s not too far from ATM, shops and bus stop. Lovely area to walk and explore. Mini golf and golf club not too far. If you need to get to places bus stops are not too far, don’t bother wasting money on taxis to get to places. Unless you’re having a night of drinking. Place is clean, reliable and provides beautiful views since your up the hospital road. The price is worth it. Thank you Rose!

We had the most amazing time in Rarotonga, Nev was an awesome host, everything was just as it says clean, private & peaceful. Very relaxing lots reading material, the tropical fruit breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect for the best snorkeling/swimming beach & other amenities. This place was a great place to stay for a island holiday. The place it’s self had everything we needed and it was lovely and a comfy bed that was a plus. Just walk down the street and we had cafes a convince store and the beach and bars. Lots of car and bike hire opportunities too. Our best experience on the island were the dogs they were all so lovely and they made our holiday (they are free roaming dogs of the island). There was only one thing we were disappointed in and that was all of the roosters and chickens waking us up in the morning but that was a easy fix with some earplugs no fault of the Hosts. Overall we loved it and if we come again we hope to that here!!

Besides the very steep driveway it was an amazing place to stay at. Will definitely be back here when in Rarotonga.

The first thing I would like to note is the location. The best beach on the island is a 2-minute walk away, you will not find the best places for snorkelling for free, plus there are 2 shops nearby, one of which is open around the clock (5-7 minutes by bike). Within walking distance (3-5 min), there are two places where you can rent a bike or a car. The second is that this apartment has an anti-mosquito screen on all windows and doors. There is a grill in the apartment, which helped a lot, we didn't have to go to restaurants and wait for our orders for hours. I would say the house has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. I can't say that this is a place for complete relaxation, sometimes the neighbours who rent the villa can break the silence, having fun by the pool which is two meters from your door. I will not point this out as a disadvantage, just need to keep it in mind. In conclusion, I want to say that Eve and Brent do a great job of maintaining that place.

Francis and Phillip were great hosts to my friend and me. They made sure to help with transportation to the location, and getting us to the car rental shop. The location was beautiful and it was easy to access so much from there. I'd definitely recommend experiencing a stay here, and will keep them in mind for future visits!

We had the most amazing stay here. The home was absolutely beautiful and we felt right at home almost instantly, we had everything we needed, including some fresh fruit, cereal and milk etc which gave us time to settle in (and sleep in!). It was dark when we arrived in Raro, Lynn proactively gave us great directions to find the place before we landed, this was great communication and eased the stress of getting lost! We really didn't want to leave. We felt very safe here which helped us rest and recovery from the daily grind of life. We loved being amongst the nature of Rarotonga, the mountains, beautiful gardens and animals right at our doorstep. We came for a week with our daughters and had a lovely stay. The backyard was great to play in and the beach right there amazing for hunting for shells, coral and hermit crabs. Seeing whales from the deck each day was amazing too!

Great Studio. Simple but had everything we needed and Eddie was a great host! Really helpful and always quick to respond. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat. Was within walking distance of a 24 hr supermarket and great snorkeling just across the road.

The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. Carlos was a wonderful communicator. Roberto welcomed us so beautifully. Such lovely attention to detail with little flowers everywhere and a welcome card. The kitchen is great. The garden is spectacular. Lots of dvds for the rainy days. Very peaceful. We had my husband and I and our 24 year old daughter, and for us it was a little tiny, as where my daughter’s bed was, it was a little warm; but if it had just been my husband and I it would have been perfect. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home below your own home.

Perfect location for short walk to town, 15-20 mins easy. Big shower (wheelchair friendly) and toilet area, both very clean. Especially grateful that my elderly mother was able to access shower independently. I did have problems with regulating the hot water, but in saying that, Pasha did give clear details of who to contact should I need any help, I didn't, so its on me. Accommodation description was correct in terms of size ie small studio but it catered to our needs and we were very happy and comfortable with it. Mozzies were regular visitors until I lit the coils supplied by Sue and Pasha. Both Sue and Pasha were overly accommodating (so so grateful). Both hosts were overseas when I arrived which wasnt an issue as their clear communication and instructions made it a stress free check in, 5 night stay and check out booking. Would definitely book here again.
