We had a great stay at the Plumtree Cabin, it was nice to journey through the mountains and find ourselves in a private Cabin next to a farm. We were also welcomed by a family of 7 deer each night of our stay. Very affordable and comfortable cabin. Will definitely keep in mind for future travels.

quaint easy to find cabin, 10 minutes from the world and far enough away to feel alone in the woods. House had everything we needed. Instructions were great and you can tell the host care about the property

We had a great time here!! A beautiful little cabin with all the amenities needed for a stay. Very responsive host and friendly. Loved having a private hot tub surrounded by trees to relax in and a great spot to view some stars. We dined for breakfast at Louise’s Famous Rockhouse right down the street and highly highly recommend. Best biscuits ever had! We loved our visit to Newland!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint cabin. It was cozy, quiet, easy to find, and had fun entertainment options nearby.

This place was a great stay for us and our two small pups! Secluded, and had all the amenities of home - great kitchen with all the things for cooking, and a gas grill on the deck for grilling. Nice bathroom with plenty of space, and instant hot water. The bed was super comfy and adjustable which was a nice surprise. We loved the deck that overlooks the creek, and the sound of the creek is so relaxing. Stop at the grocery store before you head to the cabin, the Ingles in Morganton NC was closed with dumpsters in the parking lot, so we went to the Ingles in Marion NC instead. 30 min either way. There is a Dollar General maybe 20 min away from the cabin, we stopped there too. You can hike around the property if you like, and Lake James is very close by. There is a brewery nearby also Fonta Flora we visited also. It was beautiful and sunny but the wind was Very Cold so it limited out time outside, but we will be back late in the Summer, already booked another stay.

The hosts, John and Mary, were accommodating, friendly, and responsive. This adorable home gives you the perfect combination of being a quiet getaway in the mountains but still close to areas with a ton to do! You feel like you are in a remote cabin in the woods, but you are able to make quick jaunts to Boone to eat at amazing restaurants or head to Blowing Rock for a hike. My father's 69th birthday celebration was truly special, and we cannot wait to come back for a future visit.

Great location on Sugar! Space was perfect for our short weekend trip. Marcy was very responsive and checking in was easy. A really great trip.

Our family of 6 went on our first ski trip at Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Mountain and stayed in Faith's condo. We loved the location. Walkable to many restaurants. We walked to get ice cream at night. Short drive to Sugar Mountain. Condo was very clean and spacious. Faith was very responsive with questions and concerns. We had a little mishap where the bed frame broke the first night upon sitting on the bed (he is 190 pounds). We had to make do and share 2 bedrooms between the 6 of us. Faith had the bed fixed by the next day and refunded us a small portion for the inconvenience. We were grateful for her responsiveness. I can see other Airbnb owners blaming the renters and charging them extra instead. Overall a great experience and great memories for our first ski trip. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

This place is very welcome very cozy very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet and relaxing place .we enjoyed our vacation and we will come back . The host Melissa was super nice and very thoughtful of everything what you need to make your stay fantastic.we love that place and is highly recommend to give a try .

Everything was beautiful and a peaceful stay with family. Brittany was always quick to respond! The listing stated a hot tub, and we were a bit disappointed to find it in not working condition - but after talking with our lovely host, we were able to come to an agreement! We recommend this place for anyone looking to getaway for the weekend! Perfect for larger families, and so much to do in the area! Like Tubing, Ice Skating, Skiing, Snowboarding, and Hiking! 10/10!

We loved staying here! We had a lot of fun with the foosball table and games. The house was very clean and had everything we wanted/needed. We saw a lot of deer. The house was in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing experience! Spectacular picturesque views of Lake James with mountain backdrops. The host was also very quick to respond with any questions. I would highly recommend this lakehouse paradise. :)
