Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Newington

Tyler was accommodating with our early check in request as we were in town for a funeral at Arlington National cemetery. Proximity to metro,restaurants and cemetery was perfect. House was great for our two families and gave us a place where we could gather and visit. It’s very comfortable and well appointed!

Great place, nice neighborhood. Walking trails nearby, close to restaurants and grocery store. House is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Felt very comfortable there.

Overall a great stay. Home was very spacious with a lot of amenities. Easy to get to stores, highways and around the area. Lots of room in the driveway. Having a fenced back yard was a real treat for our dog. Loved having coffee in the enclosed porch in the morning. Lots of plates, cups and utensils. Jake was super to work with and would give 10 stars as a host. Easy to follow instructions to get in and access WiFi. Know before you go, kids bedroom doesn’t have a door so if you need privacy, you may want to hang a blanket. Main room doesn’t have access to a closet or dresser but both of the other rooms have California closets. These are just things to note; did not have any adverse effect on the enjoyment of the home. We loved it here!

We enjoyed staying at Kate’s home. We had two families with six total guests and the home was the perfect amount of space for our group. It was warm and comfortable with a large enough kitchen for our crowd and multiple eating areas. The modern decor mixed with the antiques was so neat. Kate was very helpful with local recommendations. Thanks for hosting a wonderful home!

We had a great stay! This house was great for a large family gathering- lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and large common areas to relax in. We loved the backyard view- it felt private but was close to restaurants and shopping. We recommend it.

We had a great stay at the cottage! It is as advertised. It's close enough to drive to Middleburg main street, so much to do. Peaceful views out the back of house. Beautiful mornings with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend. The owner was accommodating, super responsive and helpful. Upon bringing an item to her attention, not only was she responsive, but she went above and beyond our expectations to resolve it.

Had such a great stay. The place was easy to find. Had clear check-in instructions. Everything was very neat and clean. The place is very comfortable. Very smartly laid out, which makes the place seem very spacious. The location is great and everything is easy to get to. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. Maricel is a great host and we were very appreciated staying there. We were comfortable and met our expectations of peace and quiet needed. The place was clean and neat and we were comfortable ensuring we left the place as clean as possible. We enjoyed the unit and expect the unit to accommodate others guests that will keep the place as neat as we did. The area is conveniently located in a safe and close to many other establishments.

Trish’s place is great! Very comfortable, like being in a home that’s been lovingly set up. Good space, comfy king-sized bed and linens, gas fireplace, comfortable and attractive furniture. Good kitchen and bath. Laundry was a plus. And Trish was welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home. Attractive and quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended and we plan to stay again.

Robert was a gracious host. He was welcoming to me and my pets, fully explained how everything worked and what was nearby and ensured he was available if I needed anything. We had a doggie play date at the end of my stay and my dog LOVED her time with Ruby. The neighborhood is safe and near restaurants and parks. It was a great value and stay, and Robert is a wonderful host.

Sarah's place was perfect - great neighborhood, lovely apartment, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Sarah was a very responsive and friendly host. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay for my business trip! Super clean, super quiet, but just one block away from all the Georgetown restaurants and stores. Buses are one block away and the Foggy Bottom metro station is about 10-minutes away by foot (but you can take a bus to get there if you prefer). The price was also very reasonable in this new era of overpriced Airbnb places. Highly recommend!

I am traveling for work and this is my second stay as I felt right at home with everything I needed! Joseph and Eunice are wonderful, caring hosts.

Beautiful unit in a lovely neighborhood that is in easy walking distance of restaurants, markets and shops. Everything was immaculate and new. Thoughtfully furnished and lots of extra touches including a great assortment of teas and coffee. We visit this area frequently to see family and I would happily stay in this wonderful place again.

The house is as described full of amenities. I particularly enjoyed the piano and sauna. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for everything

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The home was exactly as described and pictured. The space was spotless and the amenities were wonderful. The owner was very responsive, including helping me get back a valuable personal item that I accidentally left behind. We will absolutely be back next time we have a family gathering in Manassas!

Aman and Krista are outstanding hosts and their home is beautiful and cozy. We have now stayed in their home twice and both times have experienced above and beyond hospitality. We have two little kids (an infant and a toddler) and Aman goes the extra mile to make sure we have what we need (books, toys, high chair, pack n play). It really makes the traveling experience so much easier. Their home is in a walkable neighborhood and is close to everything. We spent most of the weekend at Georgetown and it was very easy getting back and forth. Thank you to our hosts for another wonderful family vacation! We’ll be back.

I will forever be grateful for the amazing weekend my wife and I spent at the Dulles Executive Resort. It was love at first sight when we checked in after an overwhelmed 5 hours red eye flight. We needed a secluded place to rest and it was far better than what we had hoped for even beyond a stretch of our imagination. Beside being conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from IAD, the DER offers so many amenities..Our host welcoming attitude left no room for reproach. Thank you Alexise for helping us check in more than 12 hours in advance. Your overall warm introductory remarks and the fact that you went beyond normalcy in order to accommodate your guests made our week end....Your unwavering commitment to excellence and definite touch of "bon chic, bon genre" is without a doubt what makes DER a beauty to behold, a place of exquisite workmanship. Some amazing memories were made here! Amir and Sabreena have a cozy yet roomy abode with great communal spaces (ie a dining room upstairs and downstairs, open kitchen space, 2 backyard porches). All the rooms had queen beds or bigger. The Peloton screen does not work but I still got in a workout on the bike just listening to some music. Amir and Sabreena were both also readily available at all times as if they were on call knowing that the first day of check in could result in some questions. No question went unanswered for longer than 30 min. The highlight of our trip was the night we spent in the backyard on the 2nd floor making smores, fire pit and just hanging with family outside. It is such an amazing setup outside! (We were a family of 9, including 2 toddlers under 4). Thank you to our hosts for providing us a space to make such beautiful memories with our family. Convenient location to VA AND DC!!

Kate is such a warm host. When we arrived, she greeted us with such a warm welcome. Then we had a quick tour of her beautiful house. We were all amazed by her passion and how much love she put into this place. Too bad we didn’t get a chance to use the pool (too cold) or the bath tubs (too little time). Definitely want to come back again in a warmer time of year, and make sure we have a ton of leisure time to enjoy and appreciate better of this wonderful place. Nonetheless, the night we had here was magical and unforgettable.
