Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks

I came to LA to work at a nearby studio and my family came with. The kids and husband had a great time at the house while I was gone working, they had everything they needed there. The house is super clean, has lots of space both indoor and outdoor, and is really easy to find. We would definitely stay again if we come back to the same area!

Todd was great in communication. He helped us relocate during the Palisades fire. Plenty of space and lots of rooms.

We really enjoyed the stay. The location is a great central location for our itinerary - Universal Studios, Pantages Theatre, Griffith Observatory, La Brea Tar Pits, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Farmers Market, Santa Monica Pier, and great LA/Hollywood/Beverly Hills restaurants, and more. Pass Only parking right in front of the house was very convenient. The grounds are very secure - Courtyard has a locking gate and is private yet open. rear enclosed yard has a nice lounging area, and outdoor dining when weather permits. Plenty of room inside - more than enough for our family of four. well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to all we needed - Whole Foods, A nice local coffee shop not even 1 block away; Farmers Market of course is wonderful with endless dining options! We used uber frequently and pickups were always just minutes away. nice neighborhood, very cute Spanish style house and very well kept. We truly felt as if were living as locals!

Staying at Danna's place was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. The location was perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet, allowing us to fully relax and recharge. Danna is an incredible host! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, being super responsive throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back! This entire home is spacious with a well groomed front and back yard. Just enough decoration to make it cozy and not overwhelming. Close to Universal Studios and shopping centers. Lots of parking.

Very spacious unit. Big and well laid out. And clean. Great location. The listing doesn’t mention that you have to go across the street to get to the pool, so you should be aware of that ahead of time.

What a terrific place to stay! Steve is a wonderful proactive host and responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. This isn't just a place to sleep; it's a fully stocked one bedroom apartment with a great kitchen. The ability to cook our own meals made our trip so comfortable. Highly recommended.

This place had almost everything I needed, stylish and cozy as described. It was quite cold at night and, while there was a heating unit in the bedroom, there was none in the living room. When I asked Juan about this, he brought a space heater right away. I had the feeling that whatever things I might need, he was ready to accommodate. I made a few more minor requests and the answer was always “yes.” I really appreciated that. I would definitely book this in the future, should the opportunity arise.

Lami is a super host. Very helpful, communicative, quick to respond. The place is so tidy and homey with great attention to details, such as user manuals filed in a folder, stocked up Keurig cups, sugar and creamer sachets. There is a separate working desk with a printer, which is very nice. We never had such amenities at other places that we stayed before. Thank you, Lami.

Mehry was an extraordinarily gracious host! She was kind and welcoming, and gave me a thorough orientation to the charming apartment. Tucked into a nice neighborhood between busy boulevards, her property is an urban oasis. It is immaculately clean and comfortable, well appointed, has beautiful natural light, and overlooks a lovely garden with lemon and orange trees. It exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to my next visit.

I am staying with Pam for the second year. She is a wonderful host, and her place is perfectly located for me. The decor is notably curated. The space is ideal for me. I am quite satisfied with the place and with Pam!

It was nice spot for us and Oluwaseyi’s was a really clean place. Very convenient for us to travel to our locations. It was a great time for us, seriously well prepared for us. Plenty of amenities for our needs. Very accommodating to requests. Check it out!!!

Loved location. We did buy a few foil 9 x 13 pans to cook in. Plus I bought some of my own favorite kitchen tools. I did buy a smaller cutting board. But the kitchen had several items.

This place was wonderful and in a great location. 1 minute to the beach and Venice pier. Amazing and clean as well. Nicole was great to work with and communicated quickly with me when I had questions. We loved our stay and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay at the beach ! Convenient to HWY 101. Roomy very comfortable, well equipped, enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace was great for the cool evenings. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding would highly recommend.

A charming beachside apartment. Original mid-century features tastefully modernized. All painted white so the room is full of the ocean light. We loved it here.

Adam's house is in a safe and quiet location with a carport and private parking.The room is clean and fully equipped, it is very convenient because it is only 10 minutes by car from US Studios Hollywood. Adam personally helped me check in, very timely response information, great place to live when traveling to Los Angeles!

This apartment was perfect for my short stay in the LA area. The layout actually felt much better than the photos portray. The bathroom was a huge plus with the hotel feel and the towel warmer rack.
