Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Newaygo County

We were so impressed with Jodi’s Cozy Cabin. It was by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in yet. Not only was it cozy with the most beautiful view of Croton Pond, it had all the amenities needed for a great stay. Jodi is a fabulous host and we can’t wait to come back for another stay!

I am looking forward to returning when I have more time to spend at the at cabin and surrounding area. Beautiful setting and a very cozy and comfy cabin!

If you are looking for a quirky, yet charming, cabin in quiet woods… this is the place! We wanted something peaceful and private for New Years, and this place definitely delivered. The kitchen is a bit outdated, so you may not want to cook a large dinner there (didn’t bother us), however the two full bathrooms were recently renovated and felt very luxurious- LOVED that shower! There is also a nice loop trail right outside of the cabin, clearly marked with blue dots. Our dog, somehow, already knew the way. And speaking of dogs, for a place that is dog friendly, the owners certainly do a great job of making sure the place is clean and smells nice. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

"The Land" was perfect to celebrate an 80th Birthday. The main floor bedroom was great for the guest of honor. We ended up with 14 of us staying at the house (with a little coordination for the 2 bathrooms) it was a great set up. It helped that the weather was nice, so we could be outside by the fire or playing yard games. Some people enjoyed walks on the property as well. Nathan was very quick to answer all our questions. Not having internet or TV I think allowed for more interactions and game playing. Cell phones worked just fine. Thanks for sharing your place it will be a great memory for our family.

We spent December 20-23 there and it was a marvelous trip. Despite the frigid temperatures, we were snug and cozy in our little winter wonderland. We appreciate such a great experience, Merry Christmas!!

Than & Lisa are amazing hosts. The cabin more than suits the needs for anyone looking to go off the grid and find all the peace and quiet that exists on the property and surrounding nature. Speaking of nature, it’s a stone throw from Manistee National Forest and the North Country Trail (Hiking trail running from Vermont to North Dakota) if you’re into that type of thing. If not, there is plenty to offer even the infrequent outdoorsy person something to gravitate to. Be mindful of the lack of internet (cellphone) service…but that’s the point right?!?!

Beautiful home on a lake with trails all around. I loved the outside front porch that overlooks the Diamond Lake. Great place to relax and take in the nature. Extremely friendly restaurant/bar / gas station across the street. We got to meet the owners of Schindy’s and they made us feel very welcome . I’d definitely would love to come back .

We enjoyed using Michael’s place for a few nights around New Years! It was a nice, quiet place exactly as listed. I would recommend!

We stayed for a week at The Lilley Pad and had the most peaceful and wonderful time! The house was clean and the lake is beautiful. Sarah was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond by providing thorough check-in/out notes and quickly answering any question we had before or during our stay. It snowed every day and we felt like we were in a cozy snow globe all week. We brought our two pups and they loved running in the backyard and hanging out alongside us. Overall we had a wonderfully relaxing week and it was the perfect place to get away from the city - we would love to come back!
