We had a fantastic stay at your home. Plenty of space for everyone and the back deck and yard were really great! Lots of comfortable and thoughtful seating areas and fun things for the kids to do. Great little touches made the stay extra comfortable like the herb garden and the awesome cooking fire pit. We loved the old charm of the interior and the kids got good use out of the piano. Ha!! It truly was a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The water was great and the kayaking were a fun activity. Thank you Tom and Annie!!

We had a truly unforgettable family Easter weekend at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, spacious, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook our holiday meals together. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. The kids loved the backyard and outdoor area, while the adults appreciated the peaceful views and relaxing atmosphere, next to the fire pit and the lake. We also loved how pet friendly the home was, our furry family member had a blast too! Location wise, it was ideal close enough to stores and activities, but tucked away enough to enjoy quiet time together. This was our second stay at Moondance. it is a lovely location a boathouse with ever changing views of the lake. You can watch the moon ‘s reflection on the water at night and it is magical. It is convenient to both Glimmerglass and Cooperstown.

This little apartment was the perfect place for my mom and I to relax and have a lovely time in Sylvan Beach! Roomier than I expected from the pictures which was a great surprise (for some reason I imagined you had to walk through the one bedroom to get to the other- that’s not true at all! There is a separate hallway that connects the two and the one to the living room space). The location on the beach is just perfect, and a wonderful yard with multiple spaces/ uses. Chris was so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. A great host at a great place- we will definitely be looking to book again in the future!!! Only tiny downside is no full kitchen- but Chris provides a grill, toaster, microwave, and griddle. Besides, it’s vacation and there are great restaurants in town- who wants to cook on vacation anyways???

This is my second time staying at Evelyn’s house and it was just as nice as the first time. My sisters and I felt right at home, the house is very clean and well stocked. The house sits back off the road in a beautiful private location. I would recommend this house to anyone coming to the area.

Bernie was a great host. He met us to greet us and check us in and show us around the place because it is a little unique. The house is wonderful and oozes with history. There are a couple things about the set up of the unit to be aware of. The kitchen is completely enclosed within the house so there are no windows and no way to exhaust fumes - just be aware of this so you do not unwittingly set off the smoke alarm and disturb the neighbors in adjacent units. Also, the door to the bathroom, which is between the two bedrooms within the cottage unit doesn't lock, so you will need to come up with a system to alert your travel partners when someone is using the bathroom to avoid walking in on each other. Other than those two points for awareness, though, everything else is great. The bedrooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, the linens are pristine, the kitchen has everything you need, and the house is right by Otsego Lake and only a block from Main St. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved the house! It looked exactly like the pictures—new, clean, and beautifully decorated for Christmas and New Year, which made our stay feel extra special. The thoughtful decor really added to the holiday spirit. The only minor suggestion we have is that it would be great to have a big dining table in the main house, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal at all. Everything else was perfect, and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this place!
