Vacation rentals with a fire pit in New Milford

We felt immediately at home in Corina's place. The kitchen was more than ample and it was well supplied with pots and pans, dishes, and even serving pieces. It was so nice to turn on the TV and NOT be asked for our personal information for Netflix etc... My 5 year old granddaughter LOVED the tree swing and she and her younger brother enjoyed the bunk bed with the hide away berth. We have a home in the area and used Corina's place for overflow. So we knew the location, walkable to the town of MIllerton and the Rail Trail there would be a plus. If our place is at capacity next holiday then we are likely to return. Thank you Corina

Really enjoyed our two-night stay at Michael and Enrique’s place! They provided lots of clear instructions ahead of time and the place was quite easy to find. Their home is very well laid-out and cozy, and our dogs loved it too. Enrique is very communicative throughout. We will be back!

Great place would definitely recommend. Short walk to beach and plenty of good restaurants near!

Close to main street in Kent but in residential area just a short drive to everything. It was just as described and had everything we needed at hand. I would stay there again.

Paula's home was the perfect weekend getaway for my family, and the only thing better than the location was the weather. We were able to enjoy the beautiful lakefront and walk around the neighborhood as well as enjoy all the sights to see in the neighboring town. The house was spacious enough to relax while also having fun and making new memories. We would love to stay here again in the future!

We stayed at Julie's place over Thanksgiving weekend. The home is absolutely lovely. Clean, comfortable and the view and sound of the river from all of the windows along the back of the house make this a beautiful place to relax. The fireplace made the home cozy. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. It snowed so the tress were filled with a light snow. We look forward to a trip in the warmer weather as well to enjoy the back deck and the sounds of the river. Whatever the season I would highly recommend a stay at Julie's place.

Amazing stay. The house is huge- lots of family space. The hot tub is a must. Great markets nearby. Don’t miss the historic village of Rhinbach nearby. It has the oldest inn in the USA!

Very comfortable very cozy great for a family. Close to the highway Costco restaurants and other shopping areas. We would stay here again.

It's a lovely apartment that was very clean quite spacious and comfortable. Just a short minute or two drive to a few restaurants and to Daryl's house. We had a great time!

We had a really great, comfortable stay at John’s property. The space was very clean and uncluttered and was perfect for a quick visit (and would be for a longer visit, too)! The fenced in back patio was perfect for our dogs!!!! We’ve never been to Saugerties before so didn’t know what to expect — the town has a lot of cute shops, cafes and cool old bookstores! We really enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely stay again!

Fabulous place with everything thoughtfully included. Hosts were available as needed but not intrusive. Second time there and I would continue to return.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Had a great peaceful stay. Hosts were clear and communicative, the room was lovely and spotless with a little kitchen that’s perfect for short stays. Just around the corner from Main St. and hiking trails. Will definitely be coming back!

Cozy barn loft with a great view and setting. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. Would definitely come back.

I stayed for a week in this little cabin, and it was the most peaceful week I’ve had in a long time. You’re surrounded by nature (I had a family of deer graze outside during my stay). It’s a great place if you need to getaway from the suburb/city.

Nick & Lynn’s place is incredible. I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this is the only one that I’d rush back to! It’s perfectly described, the cabin is quaint and cute but very well put together with high quality furnishings and appliances. The cabin layout is really cool. The cabin was perfectly clean and all instructions were simple and easy to follow. Thanks for hosting us!

A perfect way to disconnect and find peace. I wish I knew about Sticks and Stones sooner. The location is perfectly tucked away in the woods, with beautiful views and lots to explore. The staff are very friendly and easy to get ahold of if needed. I cant wait to spend another weekend at Sticks and Stones in the near future!

My best friend and I had a great time at the cabin! The creek was super soothing and we had a great time at the fire pit! Everything was very clean and organized in the home! We also appreciated how cozy the space was. The hosts were easy to contact when we had questions! Would def book again!

We loved Ariella and Adam’s Ancram A-Frame. It was the perfect retreat for a little rest and relaxation. We made some excellent dinners in the perfectly appointed kitchen (as a chef, I can be a little particular). But it had everything I needed, from sharp knives to a micro plane to cookie sheets that don’t flex when they’re baked. There are many reading spots and the fire keeps the home warm during chilly fall nights. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and are grateful to have had the few days here. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to do as we did, which was hunker down and enjoy the space!

We LOVED our stay here! It's definitely rustic with a few spiders but the location by the babbling brook and close to all the cute CT towns cannot be beat. We loved using the fireplace + cooking in the open kitchen. It was such a nice getaway! Highly recommend.

Of all the AirBnBs my wife and I have been able to experience, Tina's is at the very top of the list—a place that's perfect for anyone looking for total peace *as well as* easy access to all the wonderful things that the valley has to offer on both sides of the river. Warm, exquisite, and anything but utilitarian, the property feels like a true home, with few if any traces of wear from previous visitors and much more on offer than most would expect from an AirBnB, including a fully stocked medicine cabinet, to give just one example. The next time we consider traveling to the region, the first question will probably be: "Is Maitopia available?"

From the very beginning we had a wonderful stay at Susanne’s cosy cottage! When we arrived, which was late, we were welcomed with scones on the table and the fridge was stocked with local eggs and milk, which made us feel welcomed and at home. Susanne was very responsive, friendly, and helpful with any questions we had. There is a fire place indoors with wood for us to use. The grill outside is also great. There is a fire pit outside as well which we did not use, but would have been lovely if we had more time.
