What a wonderful, peaceful oasis! The treehouse at the Shire is just incredible! The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. The grounds and property are just stunning. There are also trails and a trail map to adventure on the property. They also have a very sweet pup, Bo, who became best friends with my dogs (after a friendly introduction and me asking if he was free to play). I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Great location to hike and have a peaceful respite, but close to restaurants too! Also, LGBTQ+ friendly!

My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend away. The cabin was cozy, especially the beds and seating by the fireplace. Alecia made us feel welcome and comfortable with all the features of the house. She was very responsive and paid a lot of attention to detail. While visiting the cabin I was able to go for a long run (plenty of hills!) and eat at some delicious local restaurants. We look forward to an opportunity when we can come back.

Great, quiet place with beautiful views. Very well equipped kitchen (managed to make a Thanksgiving dinner). Great opportunities for being outdoors. Really liked the short walks directly from the property and the kids loved the hot tub.

Had a lovely one night stay to get away and decompress for a bit. The cabin was cozy and secluded in a beautiful location. There was plenty of firewood available to keep us comfortable on a chilly evening. Hosts provided very clear, thorough, and helpful details about the rental well in advance of our stay. We enjoyed unplugging and relaxing for the night and would definitely book again!

Even more beautiful than in the photos. We were a group of 10 (6 adults, 4 18 year olds). We hiked the trails around the property (very pretty) and did a couple of local hikes as well. Spent part of a day at the shops in Littleton. Kristin is a friendly, responsive and generous host. We had a glitch with our reservation—my error—and she worked to accommodate us and all worked out well. As others have suggested, there is plenty of space for sleeping even though there aren’t a lot of actual bedrooms. The privacy screens work well, and there is so much room that it was not an issue. Highly recommend!

Cool house, worked well for 3 nights and skiing at Cannon. Kids loved the pool table and bunk beds. There is no dishwasher which is accurately reflected in the listing. The hosts were very responsive and left little instructions all over the house which was nice.

The cabin is cozy and campy and I felt immediately at home with the stove burning and woods out the window. Very accessible to nearby hikes, quiet and private. I hope to stay again to see the area in different seasons. Take the farm tour! Stephen is great.

My friends and I are photographers who make an annual fall getaway. Mike's place was beyond what we hoped for! It started with great communication--Mike answered any and all questions very quickly and offered additional suggestions of places to go and things to do. The house was located way off the beaten path on a very private road, right on a large pond. The scenery was gorgeous and we didn't really even have to leave the property to find beauty! We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with it's fire table in the evening! Hopkinton is a beautiful small town that we enjoyed exploring! We hated to leave, but all of us look forward to booking this amazing place again very soon!

What an absolutely amazing place. Pictures actually don’t do this place justice especially in the winter with the snow oh my gosh it is gorgeous! It’s quiet and secluded on a huge plot of land but close enough to amenities like restaurants and grocery stores, which is always important for a little bit longer of a stay! My kids and I used the zip line which was a BLAST when it was snowing. Went sledding on the hills of the property and otherwise just hung out and enjoyed the views and hot tub. The walking trails were fun too. We literally didn’t need to go anywhere with all there was to do at the house including video/card/board games. We are already planning our return trip for next year I cannot wait!! Oh and of also - the host Mason was attentive, responsive, and kind!

Very peaceful place and lovely family. My 2 kids spend the whole time playing with her son. Great family place.

Booked this location for a friend as my wife and I were staying in Elena's other property. Our friend Joyce's words "A most accommodating Hostess, the property was wonderful and Thank you again" Elena goes out of her way to make people feel comfortable and as always went above and beyond. We spent three days through Christmas in this beautiful post and beam. We wanted to be able to cook all of our meals there as well and the kitchen was well equipped. It had been beautifully decorated for the holidays. We added a few things and enjoyed Christmas eve and Christmas day in this very cozy space. We would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Brosie Farm. The Airbnb was thoughtfully designed, clean, and comfortable. Everything felt brand new. The location was great for skiing at Gunstock mountain with access to restaurants and plenty to do along the lake. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had to date and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.

We had so much fun skiing nearby for the week. We would definitely come back next year!

We enjoyed two months in “the barn.” The kitchen was well equipped for preparation of meals. The bed was comfortable. The location was quiet with lots of activities nearby. And the host was most responsive.

We loved staying at this apartment! It was just as beautiful and clean as pictured, and everything was perfectly designed for comfort - from the beautiful gas fireplace in the bedroom, the stunning bathroom with double sinks, incredible shower, and amazing soaking tub, and the gorgeous, spotless kitchen with everything you could need to prepare and store food. The setting was very tranquil; there was no noise from abutting properties and the view from the bedroom was so pretty. We’ve stayed at luxury hotels, and this apartment had a coziness and beauty that cannot be found in a larger chain/hotel. Kevin and Jeanne were very responsive to all our questions and provided clear instructions for our stay. We can’t wait to book again and could picture staying there absolutely any time of year and loving it! Thank you for being great hosts!

My wife and I had an amazing time with our 5 month old boy. This was our first family vacation with our son and we’ll remember it forever. This is a beautiful house with even more beautiful views! Everything was clean and tidy. You are only 7 minutes from Story Land and about 15 minutes from downtown North Conway making this the perfect location. We’ll definitely be booking with Brian again in the future!

The place is clearly well taken care of with attention to detail. This would be a great place any time of year. Miriam and the home were very accommodating. I would return to this location with great peace of mind.

Right off the bat, Jason was incredibly flexible and accommodating. Kurt was very responsive and made us feel at home. Both always warm and friendly. This gorgeous carriage house is completely stocked with everything you need. From your cooking pans and condiments, to linens and toiletries. Sitting on the back deck and taking in the beautiful views was our favorite part. We are very grateful to both Jason and Kurt for sharing their wonderful carriage house with our family. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful home and very clean! Exactly what we wanted for the weekend and can’t wait to book it again next year for our annual trip!!

We had an awesome adults weekend at Bobs place. He was an amazing host. We came up to go to the ice castle with a group of 8 of us. We were not sure if we would be cramped inside as the weather was cold and snowy. We were not at all the large spacious living room gave us all a place to hang out. The hot tub and outside bar area was also an awesome spot to hangout. There was a snow storm the morning of our check out Bob called me the night before and told us not to rush for our check out and to stay as long as we need with the bad weather. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a large place that still feels like home. We will definitely be doing a return trip at some point soon. Thanks Bob

Great location and very charming location. Was very comfortable. Great kitchen with a gas stove and all the necessary implements for cooking meals. Cole and his wife were very responsive and helpful with questions that i had and they even left us with a bottle of wine and cookies when we arrived which was splendid as it was our anniversary. The location was super close to the covered bridge, the Echo Lake State Park and the Kancamagus, as well as US 302 which were in prime fall colors during our stay.

We had a great time at David's place. There was plenty of space with a nice open concept with a great view of the lake. We went in the winter so we couldn't get down to the lake but it was beautiful to see. We would definitely recommend David's place.
