The art and craft of Dala guest house

I have a locally built home nice, relaxing, quiet and very safe. You will be welcomed with a bamboo band music, contemporary dance or a traditional dance at arrival. You can walk a hundred meters down to the coastline where you get on a boat for boat ride around the islands, you can enjoy a swim on the islands and enjoy snorkeling if you wish, on our beautiful reefs or visit the wrecks of world war 2.

A neatly arranged bed with fresh white linens is complemented by a decorative maroon runner. Soft towels are creatively folded into a flower shape at the center, accompanied by a small flower and a colorful cushion resting against the headboard.

Come and stay at our family home when you are in Goroka. We live overseas right now, so our family takes care of it while we are away. We're 5 min out of town and in a secure family compound setting. If your looking to explore the wonders of the highlands of PNG, our 4 bedroom home is the perfect base for you. We also have a 4x4 vehicle available for hire if you need.

Rehoboth Logde is only 3 minutes drive from Jackson's International Airport. It is built into a mini tropical rainforest surrounded by friendly neighbourhood. It is "peaceful and quite" as commonly commented by our quests. It is the business of Rehoboth Lodge to ensure that Rehoboht Lodge is "Your Home Away From Home,"which is our motto.

We had a lovely stay at Ninz’s place. Ninz is very responsive with her communications which we appreciated. We were greeted warmly by Ninz’s sister Kaminio upon arrival and she checked in on us during our stay to make sure we were fine with everything. It is a very secured compound with a security guards at the door always, and they are always very happy to help whenever we had any questions. Very close to the airport, it takes around 10 if not traffics. The aparment itself is spacious and well equipped, it really feels like a home away from home. One thing to note is that you do require transport to get around, and Ninz provided a reliable driver’s number. There is also option to hire a car although we did not make use of this option as prices are out of our budget this time. All is all we would recommend Ninz’s place if you are visiting Port Moresby and would like a home away from home!

We stayed at Elijah’s apartment during the Goroka Show. The apartments are right opposite the showground so we were able to arrive at the event before the crowds and had the added advantage of being able to pop ‘home’ for a break. The apartment itself is basic but clean and comfortable and had all that we needed for self catering - fridge, stove microwave, utensils etc. A big bowl of fruit and several packets of local coffee were also provided. Elijah’s manager David and his staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful. They met us at the airport and took us into town when we wanted to visit the market or shops. (Though we could also walk into town in about 20 mins.) Would definitely stay here again.
