Vacation rentals with breakfast in New Bern

We just spent the weekend at Priscilla's and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Her place is absolutely pristine and nestled in nature with beautiful trees, gorgeous views of the water, buzzing with wild life. Bogue Sound Paradise is a very apt description for her place and not an exaggeration in the slightest. The plants, trees, and all the thoughtful elements she's added around them lend a very unique and calm, quiet vibe. The space itself has everything you'll need, but if you're like us, you'd want to spend as much time as you could out on the deck, in the yard or at the beach. Priscilla and Bill are both kind, amazing hosts and go above and beyond with their hospitality. Priscilla even spoiled us with some delicious treats for breakfast! The one thing I will say is that if you're a light sleeper or get disturbed super easily then there is a chance you might here some sounds from across the house. That wasn't a problem for us, but just something to keep in mind.

This home was perfect for our holiday travels! The host NyKedtra was very friendly and helpful during our stay! If you love the country this is the home for you!!!! Very peaceful, very quiet, and felt very safe in the area!!! We loved the stay and the other host came to help us with some things and she was very polite and made us feel right at home!!!!! We definitely will stay again if we are in the area!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about The Lighthouse. Beautifully decorated, clean, and kitchen with everything you need to cook great meals during your visit. Great parking for beach access and nice boat/kayak launch nearby. Short drive to grocery store and restaurants. We loved it so much we extended our stay a couple of days! Thank you Janet for being a wonderful host!

Endless Summer is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Emerald Isle! It is centrally located near the beach, the sound side, Bogue Inlet Pier, restaurants, activities & shops. The golf cart that comes with this rental is a huge perk! Not only do you have access to private golf cart parking and beach access, you can also cruise around the area in it. The home is full of entertainment and things to do. Haylee & Alex (the hosts) are very helpful, friendly, responsive and do everything in their power to ensure a wonderful stay. They also go above and beyond and provide ample amenities. Their home is fully stocked and beautifully decorated to make you feel completely at ease and comfortable during your stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you're ever in the area!

This house is perfect for a visit to the laid-back south end of Topsail Island. Very comfortable space and furnishings, perfect for a family or extended family as our group was. Loved the view toward the sound from the back porch (sunsets!) and the covered front porch is super in the morning. Easy walk to the beach. Do be aware that there is another rental unit below—not a big deal to us. Erik was very responsive and friendly. Oh, and the kayaks and the outdoor shower are neat amenities! Thank you Erik.

Had a wonderful stay at Libbie's home. Enjoyed our conversations regarding the area, family, and travels around the world. Libbie had some very interesting stories which I truly enjoyed. She was very cordial, and I would recommend her home for a stay to anyone visiting the area.

We loved staying at Lindsay’s place! I was impressed with how clean it was. The vibe was fantastic and cozy and everything we needed was well thought of. Lindsay was quick to answer any questions or concerns I had and was super kind about everything. A minor detail to some, but the coffee maker/Keurig was very clean which I’m always looking out for at rentals. The swings were such a fun part of our stay, our teens absolutely loved them (I found myself have a relaxing swing too). The public beach access is only steps away which was super convenient. Our doggies liked their stay as well, & there were no traces of any other pet hair/pet messes upon our arrival—a plus when staying at pet friendly places. We would absolutely stay again!

Don’t hesitate to stay here! Such a picturesque bed and breakfast. The owner John was beyond friendly and accommodating. He was happy to make it feel just like home. The rooms were charming, comfortable, spotless, and guaranteed good nights rest. I stayed in the Wooten room and it was perfect for one traveler. Not only was the atmosphere and service wonderful, the food was INCREDIBLE. John is a hell of a cook and makes the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted with his secret ingredient! I also have a gluten allergy and he went above and beyond to provide! Freshly baked waffles with strawberries and syrup one morning, and a DECADENT cinnamon coffee cake….even packed me a piece to hit the road with! Coffee was also perfectly brewed which is a must for this caffeine addict. Book! Book! Book! Cannot wait for my return trip to new bern! Thank you John!

Staying at Phoebe’s was amazing! Me and some friends came for a short girls trip and she was so sweet to make us breakfast when we requested and gave us directions and suggestions for beaches, shops, restaurants, and activities! We also came at the perfect time as she invited us to attend a sea turtle release with her which only happens once a year! The space was super cozy and felt like home. If I ever come back to this area of NC I definitely want to stay with her!

Donna and John have a lovely home that is very comfortable and welcoming! The location is absolutely perfect set amongst the surrounding historic Beaufort neighborhood and a very short walking distance to the downtown waterfront. We stayed in the Queen Ann room which is a bright tastefully appointed relaxing space, with the bonus of an ensuite jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Breakfast was first class! Donna is a wonderful cook and she graciously accommodated our vegetarian preference. Both Donna and John are warm people who make you feel right at home! We definitely plan to return :)

Our family really enjoyed our time at Meadows Inn. Our stay was truly every thing I could have ask for. Not only is it perfectly located, providing amazing access to downtown New Bern, but our outstanding host really made our trip. Her kindness and hospitality was on full display. Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. We look forward to returning to New Bern soon and staying here again in the future.

A very friendly family that has been blessed with a beautiful farm and homestead. It was so peaceful and quiet! The amenities are top notch and they go out of their way to take care of you while staying. This is why you book Airbnb over hotels, for the experience! The owner took the time to show me all the little things that go into farming with a tour of all the animals and went on to explain everything perfectly! Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to learn and sleep well. A+ Highly Recommended
