The host is extremely pro-active and friendly. The staff who received us was also kind and helpful. The place is quite large and private at same time. The pumpset bath was awesome and we had relaxing time at this place. Despite being very near to national highway, the place is quite and have lots of privacy as the trees cover entire place. Clean rooms and restrooms. Large living room with WIFI are great deal. The sofa and other furniture makes this place feel at home.

If you want to experience a slice of yesteryear quieter times, this place is for you. We loved the house, the hospitality and the old world charm. It’s a spartan home, so if you’re expecting five star amenities this is not for you. We were a group of 8 people, traveling with an infant. The veg food was awesome, and Kumaresan and his family are welcoming and super helpful. We also could cover a lot of the temples from this house. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an authentic experience.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Thanjuvar, this is it. From the warm welcome from the whole family who were very helpful throughout, to the lovely home cooked food, and spacious rooftop accommodation. Padman, the son who is based in London, went above and beyond to help on a range of matters specifically transportation and train tickets. For that, our whole trip wouldn’t have been the same and we’re very grateful. The accommodation itself is set away from the main building and is clean, comfortable with a small kitchen area that includes a fridge and amenities supplied such as coffee and tea. The main temple is around 20 mins walk and the rooftop was a lovely place to relax afterwards. Highly recommend.

The property was very well maintained and the host was very friendly and ensured we had s pleasant stay. He gave us suggestions about places to be visited around and called up multiple times to check on us and ensured we were all sorted.

Great Place to stay.If you have hit upon this place while searching for hotels/homestay then you are at the right place , you can close your eyes and book it. I would recommend to my friends and relatives. There are no coffee/tea shops in that street or alteast I couldn't see ( I stayed for a night). Kitchen and utensils are available and if you get milk then you can have it at home. Overall experience Excellent. Host Venkatesh guided us how to reach, good restaurants nearby .

The place was very comfortable and we enjoyed the place quite a lot. Mukesh (Ratnavel’s help) stayed with us and ensured that we had everything we needed covered. Excellent host!

A truly wonderful and memorable homestay - very large lounge and bedrooms - well equipped kitchen with all we needed for our 3 night stay - and all extremely clean. Natarajan was always available on the phone and very helpful in suggesting 2 magnificent temples to visit very close by which we would have missed otherwise. Also the Big Temple in Thanjavur is only 20 minutes by Auto which is stunning and not to be missed. He also arranged a taxi for us to Madurai at a reasonable rate. His delightful parents live downstairs and are also very friendly and helpful - they showed us a safe place to bathe in the river nearby - too shallow to swim but great to cool off!! All in all a great place to chill out and relax.

Had a great and peaceful stay at Sri Laxmi guest house. Chamu's place is well maintained and very clean. It's also close to famous temples. Property manager Nagu helped us with flexible checkin and checkout. We're traveling with our parents and our toddler. We all felt right at home.

It's a WONDERFUL & SATISFIED STAY with good atmospheric sceneries and helpful people always around there. Easy accessible to Thirunallar, Tharagambadi Beaches & Thirukadayur if someone wanna cover both in a day or 2. Thanks Ram for giving good stay...

Had a comfortable stay . Very approachable owner . His staff were courteous and polite . Lots is small ants in kitchen and bathroom . This need to be attended to .
