Cristina and Julio”s place was absolutely fantastic. She’s a super host. When I got there she was waiting for me at the property. I have stayed there last year under a different management, but with Cristina taking over the management, it was a huge difference in the decoration of the rooms, the kitchen, the quality of the garden and the cleanliness of the pool. If you want to be in a very peaceful place with a lot of green around you, this is the place for you. It’s about 15 minutes for a quite large supermarket and Villarrica has some nice restaurants and good quality bars. The pool is really the cherry on the cake for a total relaxing time. It has a good size. I had a super time last year, but this year was absolutely incredible. I will come back again next year. it’s very peaceful with lots of nature around. All in all I had a wonderful time. Cristina is really a super host.

It’s a beautiful place where you can isolate to connect with the nature , we took our two huskies with my wife , Carmen was very friendly with us and the dogs , she has some birds so always have your dogs with the leash when going out if you’re planning to take pets with you , the way to the place is kind of rocky , but just drive slow and try to get there before sunset , We were so thankful with Carmen for letting us stay there for a couple of days , also she speaks English and Spanish 🙌🏻🙌🏻 We’ve loved our stay in her cabin , thank you Carmen hope to visit your place again soon 🙌🏻🌄

the apart hotel is as shown in the photos, it is very nice, comfortable, clean and safe. it is located on a main avenue so it is close to restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations, and shops. The host is very friendly, and communication is agile, check-in and checkout was very simple. I would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful and quiet place in the middle of a forest with a tiny river all for yourself. There’s no one around since the rest of the houses/rooms of the same host are a bit far away. I really enjoyed this peace. But it took me one hour to find the right resort since there’s no address or digital point on a map on airbnb. When I called, they were not helpful at the phone - instead they hung up because I was speaking Portuguese and did not provide me with the necessary information how to reach the location. The day I left, two cleaning ladies were suddenly in front of my back door 1.5 hours before the checkout and kind of „kicked“ me out. Felt stressed and uncomfortable.

One of the most pleasant and peaceful accommodations we experienced in Paraguay during our 2-month trip. Joe is very helpful, friendly and skilled. He picked us up by car at the bus stop and took us and his girlfriend on a day trip around the area. His house is further from the city, but you will enjoy complete peace, quiet, comfort and an amazing pool. There are many paths in the area to go for a walk and soak up the simple life of the locals. There is a shop nearby where you can buy basic cooking supplies. The equipment of the guest house is above standard and completely new, including a gas stove and quality cooking pots. The house is also perfectly secured against mosquitoes and insects, which everyone will appreciate. German quality, after all. :) The internet can be slower in places, but you can enjoy relaxing in nature and peace all the more. We would love to come back here again. Thank you. :)
