The thought of someone bringing one all the way to Australia speaks volumes about the dedication behind it. Greta’s Finnish cabin exceeded all my expectations. Despite the unexpected urban setting, the cabin felt like a peaceful haven amidst the rugged Australian environment. It radiates warmth and comfort, making it the perfect escape from the outside world. Our evenings were especially memorable—we looked forward to watching old movies and soaking in the cosy atmosphere. Greta’s cabin is a unique and special retreat—a little piece of Finland nestled in the Grampians. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Great location! Sue was very kind. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast food and homemade jam. A wonderful place to stay. Just a note, in order to access Wi-Fi, you had to walk a few minutes to an atrium area. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but just wanted to note it in case somebody needed immediate access.

great host, tidy place, convenient location

This was a very comfortable home that was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the extra little things such as a fruit bowl and basic things in the fridge and freezer. Check in was easy and we enjoyed our stay

A superbly presented property. Lovely sourdough on arrival with fantastic, premium granola and fresh farm eggs. Kitchen has gorgeous ceramics, accessories and fixtures. The Nespresso machine a welcome bonus. Loved the thoughtful design and well appointed bathroom, everything is presented very well and we adored the opportunity to enjoy the sunrise on the deck with spacious garden and surrounds. It’s a terrific venue and a great stay

I had such a refreshing stay at Firgrove retreat. The space was incredibly clean, and very well thought out... and the view from the dining table of the Grampians at sunset was sublime. Jennifer was very welcoming and I enjoyed our chat on arrival and at departure, in saying this, my privacy was respected during my stay. There were also some nice little touches Jennifer had included which were very much appreciated. On the morning I was getting set to leave, my general feeling was "I haven't stayed long enough". Thank you :)

This was the perfect place for ouf first visit to Mt Gambier, we stayed 3 nights and used the house as a base to explore the area. The house is extremely spacious, spotless and very well located. I would highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay everything immaculate so clean fresh and lovely personal touches. This was an absolute dream to stay in. The kitchen very well equipped and breakfast and snack items provided were appreciated. Washing machine detergents and all toiletries available too. Even a very clean bbq!! The best Airbnb we have ever had the pleasure to stay in Thankyou.
