Family-friendly vacation rentals in Naples

We had an amazing stay! Our host was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our visit. They truly went above and beyond—offering thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants, helping us coordinate transportation, and even driving us themselves so we could avoid some of the many stairs on the Amalfi Coast! Their hospitality made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. This was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had, and Angela’s son, Raffaele, was the best host (and probably the nicest person I’ve ever met). We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Staying at Cris House felt super safe as two 19 year old women traveling!! Super close to the Amalfi, and Atrani was so very peaceful and calm. The neighbors were so sweet too. Thank you so much!!

She was an amazing host, even helped us check in a little bit earlier because I was feeling sick. She responsive and guided us to the apartment. She took care of all our needs, left snacks too which were very welcomed after a long day of travel.

Gemma was truly the best host we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The Airbnb itself was stunning — the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the space had such a warm, welcoming feel. Gemma went above and beyond to make our stay special. She greeted us with a homemade tiramisu and even baked us an Easter pie — such thoughtful, personal touches that made us feel instantly at home. We genuinely could not have been happier with this booking. It was the perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and beauty. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone — you won’t be disappointed!

What stood out the most was, Chiara. She’s lovely! Kind, knowledgeable, happy to help, patient and basically a delight. She really made our stay with the right recommendations and friendly smile. We are very happy to have met her and have stayed at her family’s place- super clean, cozy, everything we needed.

From the minute we arrived by private car (Nunzio is the best!) we were welcomed into a home, not just an apartment. Irma was delightful and it's a great chance to practice your Italian;-) I see why this is such a highly rated Airbnb and as a fellow 10 year Super host I appreciate her efforts, nothing is too much to ask for. A1 location, perfectly stocked kitchen with goodies in the fridge, great wifi, and big bedrooms with views to die for - what else could you ask for? Do remember the right entry door as there is one just like it down the road, and remember to shut the sliding doors if you use the lift. The lemon grove lunch across the street and La Locanda del Gusto are very worthwhile experiences. I can't rate Nunzio as a driver and tour guide highly enough. He was the icing on the cake! (he even offered to do my airport transfer in Praino with a 0400 departure) - If you need a private Pompeii tour, book Chira who grew up in the shadows of the site. A memorable holiday!

Mariano was a great host. This place is up in the hills outside of the main city of Sorrento and having him offer rides makes it possible to enjoy a quieter stay and still enjoy the city. We asked him to shuttle us back and forth every day. Sometimes it was at his scheduled/included times, and other times we needed rides at different times, which he charged us for at the end. He was very kind, had graciously stocked a few things in the kitchen for us like fruit, biscuits, croissants and juice. We didn't get to use the pool because we had a rainy couple of days and then the one sunny day we were out until evening and it was closed up by the time we returned. Overall, it was a nice stay and we would recommend! The home is spacious and it's great to have two bathrooms. It worked for our family of four. Thank you Mariano!

Very good communication with Francesco. His parents welcomed us warmly upon arrival. The apartment is very well located, 5 minutes from the metro. Restaurants, bars, supermarket on the square. We were 5 friends and were able to enjoy this spacious, very clean accommodation, with very comfortable bedding and very well-equipped for cooking. We would highly recommend this host and this apartment!

We loved our time at Enzo’s. It was a quick walk to many restaurants, shops, and the beach. The terrace is a great place to relax (though in pre-season late March it wasn’t the best weather). Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for 3 adults + 1 teenager.

We stayed at Virginia's home for 3 nights. She always communicated immediately with helpful recommendations and information. The location was perfect, with the train station less than 10 minutes walking distance. We did not have a car so the proximity of the train, little grocery stores, the main street and piazzas all within walking distance was essential for us. We arranged for her son, Antonio to pick us up at the airport for a hassel free check in. Antonio also brought us back to the train station in Naples and gave us a tour of the city. They are both so kind and helpful, truly amazing people. They made our stay so enjoyable. The home itself was equipped with everything you could need, very clean, spacious, bright and welcoming. Virginia left a few staples for us to get started . The view was awesome and being on the 4th floor it was quiet as well. I cannot say enough about our stay at Virginia and Antonio's place. I highly recommend this home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Antonios apartment! The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip, location wise its convenient for getting around the city and surrounded by great restaurants. Antonio is incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again when in Naples.

This place has the most beautiful view of Sorrento from the balcony. Giacomo made us fresh limoncello from his garden and we were given amazing recommendations and even helped find a local boat tour to Positano and Amalfi. The charming villa had all the necessities to ensure a comfortable stay. I will say if you don’t have a car it can be costly to come home at night since it’s about a 20 minute hike up and the last bus to take you near there leaves at 7pm from the city center so we ended up taking a taxi. Otherwise, it was a beautiful space, the hike down in the morning had wonderful views and we felt right at home! Would recommend.

I stayed at this Airbnb with my family (4 of us total), and it was an incredibly comfortable experience. The space is just perfect—well-designed, cozy, and with all the amenities you could need. The views are absolutely stunning, and the whole place really makes you feel at home. The house was spotless, and all the kitchen utensils and appliances were in excellent condition. Everything felt very well taken care of. The surroundings are beautiful—it’s located in a small port area that offers breathtaking sunsets. The neighbors and local community are so friendly and welcoming, it truly feels like you’re part of everyday Italian life. I highly recommend this place. We loved every minute of our stay!

We felt right at home in this cozy, urban apartment. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. And if we needed something that wasn’t immediately apparent, Antonello was responsive and helpful! The apt pics are cute but the reality was delightful. Some reviewers complained about noise. Here is my take. The windows, when shut tight, are effective in dampening any noise from neighbors in the square below. Our last night was the only exception, as it was Halloween and the city was having a grand time noisily celebrating the holiday late into the evening. It didn’t affect us. And if it did, I was prepared with earplugs (I didn’t need them). This place is a hike up a cobblestone hill. We loved the exercise but if you’re flatlanders from Illinois like us, it may be a consideration. Lots of things to discover in walking distance. Grocery stores nearby, too. We loved looking out the window at every time of day & night. Antonello took good care of us. Would love to return!!

Just wow!!!! This was such a beautiful place!! Probably one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in!! The views are stunning, the castle is absolutely beautiful with plenty of room for us 3 couples from New England/NY. The balcony was our favorite spot to hang and relax while we also enjoyed the walk down to the water and even swam a bit in the Mediterranean:) the walk to Minori, cute little town with shops and restaurants is an easy 8 minute walk and the Ferry and bus stop in right there providing easy access to the other villages along the coast. The home was well stocked and Francescopaolo was a wonderful host! He provided great information before, during and after our stay. We didn’t have a vehicle but there is plenty of space if we did have one. Would 100% stay again and will be recommending to friends and family. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!! ☺️

Fantastic stay for 5 family members. Beautiful villa with exceptional view and lovely balcony. Close to store and great restaurant. Loved the kitchen and dining area. Walked down to town twice. Not that hard, but did take the bus on return that dropped off near villa. Also took boat ride along amalfi coast. The best day!! Everything Sooo nice!

Clean, spacious apartment in a very walkable area close to shops, groceries and restaurants. A comfortable stay for our family of 4, we highly recommend this apartment!

Thank you Monica for a lovely stay in an amazing location! Sorrento was absolutely stunning and Monica’s accom was a lovely haven to return to. We always felt safe and there was plenty to do close by - moments from restaurants and easy walk to Marina for boat departures. The apartment was equipped with l plenty of games to keep kids occupied. Access to the pool at the hotel next door was a standout (though freezing when we visited it early April 😉). Minor let down was the lack of access to streaming services on TV to keep kids busy in downtimes, though this won’t bother everyone. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. Grazie!

We had a great time at Francesca's place. She was extremely helpful and supportive, and made bookings for us for our Amalfi and Capri tours as well. The house has great views of the sea and a nice pool to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked to help us cook at home. Would definitely recommend this to everyone looking to stay away from the bustle of the city.

This was the perfect home base for our time in Sorrento. We loved spending time on the terrace overlooking the orange and lemon trees. Very clean and quiet, and just a couple blocks from many restaurants and attractions.

We had a really wonderful stay at Luiselle's place. It was lovely and a perfect location. Luiselle was very helpful and available to answer questions and had such great suggestions for aperitifs, restaurants, wine, pizza and wine, at her favorite places. We visited most of them! Perfect location to walk anywhere or gain access to other transportation. We would love to return.
