Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Nakuru County

Very special place in a nice serene environment for relaxing and very close to longonot for a half day trip there. Large rooms and bathrooms and very pleasant living room and rooftop with hammock.

David and Wakonyo are great hosts. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We received a warm welcome and our family loved it. The facility is beautiful, spacious, gives a good Kenyan feeling. The walk in the vast compound was amazing. Wakonyo took time to explain the beautiful history behind the facility. Thank you David and Wakonyo for making our trip memorable. I would recommend that you update the address to your facility as well for direction purposes

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Oria. I can’t say how wonderful it is. It’s like the garden of Eden. Giraffes and zebras in your back garden. Beautiful cosy cottage, comfy beds. Bath and showers. Fires lit inside and out every night. A good kitchen if you want to cook for yourself or lovely food delivered when you want. A great swimming pool. If there space, book it!

Chichi was a great host, very proactive and helpful. The place was serene and beautiful, totally matched the photos. The staff were amazingly helpful, Chef Samson, the caretaker and all other staff made our stay really comfortable. This was a family trip.

The home is clean and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Ann made sure we had good help throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful outdoor space, perfect for a relaxing swim or some cycling. Loved the different birds, Impalas, Zebras and Warthogs we got to see during our walk. Carry some golf clubs if you can, the field is beautiful for a game or two. Completely loved our stay.

We went on our trip to the north to Naikuru Nationalpark (30 minutes drive). We only had little time, having a hike on the nearby crater would have been surely also nice. Wonderful place with friendly people, tastefully furnished and garden with is huge and top in shape. The place is great also for a longer stay if you have your own car. I’ll come again.

Very green and peaceful place. Garden and outside area is very well kept and lovely to walk around. Bring mosquito spray for when being outdoors. Colleen is a great host.

We had the pleasure of booking Ajabu house for 10 people as a kind of reunion of friends and families and it was the perfect location to get together to spend quality time and enjoy the service of local staff being extremely helpful in cooking lunch, dinner and preparing breakfast based on the material you bring in and menu you ask them to prepare for you. In fact, I think the staff are the best part of the experience to feel at home at this heavenly located resort. Be mindful of ants especially in the upper rooms outside the main building and also no WiFi outside main building. We even had a chance to go for a walk and do boat rides on the lake. We're looking forward to coming back and would recommend it to anyone who loves nature, Kenyan warm hospitality and serenity. Finally many thanks to Tanya for an excellent service and communication. We really enjoyed our stay. Tash was very nice, responsive & very resourceful. The place was very neat & comfortable, we felt at home. It's also close to local shops for groceries, and also close to the lake. Would definitely recommend 💯

We really enjoyed our stay here, the view was fantastic! Ndirangu was very helpful and on hand to answer any questions. As a bonus, we really liked the late checkout. We'll definitely be back!

Our entire experience at The Butterfly was quite amazing. Marc's instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and his communication was prompt and precise. We received a warm welcome from Irene and Benter, who catered to us during our stay. They made us feel right at home, and prepared some absolutely delicious meals. A big "Thank You" to them for their excellent service. The Butterfly itself is a magnificent home. It is a place with character, alive with art and color and functional space. It's a place you want to get lost in, whether within its walls or outside the compound. The views of the lake from every bedroom are breathtaking. The pictures on the website, though accurate, do not do the place the justice it deserves. Thank you for making our Christmas memorable, especially the surprise we received on Christmas day. That was a nice touch. The ambience, hospitality, premises and service were all top quality. We're definitely adding this to our visit again list!

This villa and the nearby cottages are on a beautiful piece of land. This is the second time we have stayed with Samawati, and we will be back again. The house is unique, with lots of space. Susan, the manager, is incredibly friendly. She made breakfast and dinner for us each night and was very accommodating to our requests. She had perfect hospitality. Thank you!

We had a great stay . The house is very spacious and it’s perfect for a large group. The garden was beautiful and we felt very safe. Monica is such a friendly , humble and helpful . I highly recommend her place..
