We had a great time there. We were there for work and didn't get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to. The house is beautiful and the environment is serene- in the heart of tea farms. I'd really love to go there to clear my mind soon. Be aware the stairs are also a little scary but definitely seem quite stable.

I stayed for 5 nights. It's hard to believe you are less than an away from the City! The main reason I booked the place was because of the Lake and waterfall. Absolutely lovely, serene and private. If you want to be left alone there's lots of privacy. Or you can go horseback riding, take walks around the tea plantations, there's a lovely restaurant next door. You can also buy eggs and vegetables from their farm! James's place is a true gem.

Jacqui's place is a true gem, stunning beauty in the middle of Kenya's highlands dominated with captivating greenery of nature and tea. The place is close to Nairobi (about 45Mins drive), yet so far from the hustle and bustle of the city hence making a perfect weekend getaway. The staff are simply wonderful and treat you royalty. We were pleasantly surprised that Jacqui throws in a full breakfast for her guests, and although we couldn't stay long enough to enjoy it, there is too question we will be back. Thank you Jacqui.
