Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mystic, Stonington

Great place to stay for a large group going to the casino for the weekend. Lots of rooms, space and activities in the house to stay busy and have fun

The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the well -equipped kitchen and even included flour, spices and sauces. Top quality everywhere. We hiked in the adjacent state park and enjoyed that immensely. The game room was fun with billiards and pinball as well as other games. Alexa activated all the lights on voice command. Hosts met us when we arrived and walked us through the house. We hope to return each year.

My family and I stayed at the Boulder Lake House Retreat during the holiday season. It served as a great home base to spend time with family and was a short drive to downtown Madison, CT and Hammonasset State Park. The space was perfect for our family, in great shape and beautifully decorated. The view from the kitchen was beautiful; even in winter we enjoyed looking out over the frozen lake. All rooms were updated and had great amenities, including rainfall shower heads and foam mattresses. Jhismery was a great host and was very responsive! Hope to be back in the future!

Our stay with Judith was outstanding! The space was incredibly cozy and private, and we were thrilled with every aspect of our visit. It was very easy to get in touch with Judith throughout our stay, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!

Sean’s house is perfect for a weekend getaway. So well curated with art, thoughtful details, a cozy fireplace and overall great vibe. We went during the winter but would love to rent the house again in the spring/ summer as it’s so close to the beach. Overall great experience!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend, to enjoy some much needed time without our kiddos. It was a great place for us to relax, and it was clean and well stocked. If I had to pick one thing that could have possibly made our stay even better, it would be adding window treatments to the TV room. We couldn't watch TV during the day because of the glare, and at night it didn't feel very private....but besides that, it was a great place to stay!

My whole family (2 parents and 5 adult “kids”) stayed in the house and the beds were so big, tons of rooms, we had plenty of space and didn’t ever feel like we were all on top of each other. The outside area is beautiful with a big driveway and open green field. It was quiet there. The house is very cool with the vintage antiques throughout it, yet updated where the air conditioning and appliances worked very well. Beautiful home and was perfect for our big family for the weekend!

We stayed for one night. Great location and views. We really appreciated that our dog could stay as well. The fire place was very cozy and we (husband and 2 adult kids) had an awesome night playing cards against humanity that was provided.

My stay at this apartment was incredible. The location is perfect, close to all the tourist spots and with easy access to a beautiful beach. The apartment is very clean, modern, and comfortable. The decor is beautiful, and it feels like home. Our host was very kind and attentive. He gave us recommendations for places to visit, and was always available for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Old Lyme. We'll be back soon!

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would! I love Airbnbs, and have stayed in them in many states. The Charming Cottage in Chester, CT ranks among the very best experiences. The cottage has two huge bedrooms huge, but cozy. All the other rooms are big, but cozy as well. I loved all of the windows and natural light. I am an older woman, staying alone, and Bridget looked out for me the whole time. Perks: lots of stuff in the fridge and pantry (don't buy butter!) tithe fireplace is ready, and has both kindling and logs. The area around the cottage is woodsy and lovely. Throw blankets on the sofa. Lots of books. Dining room with solar panels. A short walk to the quaint little town of Chester and the Goodspeed theaters, (which is why I was there.) Bridget communicated rapidly and was incredibly sweet. I'll be back, and I'll reserve plenty early to stay here again!

Christian's apartment was comfortable and clean. the location couldn't be more perfect, so close to Old Town Mystic and a quick walk to the water and beautiful views.

I would categorize this place place as a hybrid, a cross between condo and hotel. It had everything you would need to relax and enjoy, the kitchen was well equipped and stocked right down to the spice rack, I don't know how many times I have had to purchase a jar of spice just to cook one meal while away. Great linens and plenty of towels. Two great restaurants across the street. I will be staying here again when in town!

This place was perfect for my family’s trip to Mystic. The unit is nicely updated with some historic charm in the main bedroom! The kitchen had everything we needed for some meals in, but being steps away from downtown Mystic made it hard to stay in…even during the Winter! This is my new Mystic getaway spot! Fran is a fantastic host, and we are thankful she had us!

We stayed during fall and were able to take advantage of the fire pit. There was plenty of kindling to gather nearby and the fire under the stars was very peaceful. It was starting to get chilly during our stay and the log space heater was a very nice touch. Guest book includes a number of helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. A lot of small extra touches made our stay very comfortable. We would recommend for anyone wanting a more rural feel away from the other tourists while exploring mystic.

Cozy, comfortable, and extremely clean Villa. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Host was very quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Spent Christmas with my family. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and Peace and quiet the property had to offer. We ventured out to Foxwoods and the Mystic Aquarium which is all a short drive from property. The home was spacious and I love that everything was controlled by an IPad. Our Christmas was wonderful - we even had snow falling on Christmas Eve.

Fabulous stay at Ada’s place! The warm communication began prior to our stay and continued along the way with anything we needed. Ada’s place was clean, beautifully decorated and so inviting. We felt so comfortable like a home away from home. She even wrote a note wishing my husband Happy Birthday and left out a birthday sign. It was super convenient being so close to Mohegan Sun. A quick drive or Uber drive generally less than $10. We didn’t use the spa or any clubhouse amenities but looking forward to a return stay in the future! Much thanks!

This was our second stay at this wonderful Airbnb in Connecticut, and it was just as fantastic as the first! The location is perfect – only a 30-minute drive to Mystic, making it easy to explore the town, visit the aquarium or the Old Mystic Village, and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The space itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. We’ll definitely be back for a third visit! Highly recommend!

I rented this home to accommodate my family of 6 over Christmas. Beautiful home and very comfortable beds, high quality linens and lots of space. I could tell the house was very well set up for summer guests too with plenty of outdoor gathering areas.

My friends and I booked this Airbnb for a girls' trip, and it worked out perfectly. The location was convenient, close to the casinos, but it still felt like a peaceful getaway.
