Traditional Myconian Studio in the heart of Chora

The traditional Myconian house is located in the heart of Chora, Mykonos. Our visitors will need to walk less than two minutes to reach Gialos, three minutes to Windmills and Little Venice. The bus station to the beaches is also four minutes walk away and the old port one minute. The neighbourhood is lovely with traditional narrow streets. The house offers wifi and anything you will need for preparing your own meal. Towels, bed linens, shampoo and soaps are provided as well as coffee.

I have stayed at numerous places on Airbnb the last few years, Christine and Daniel's place was by far the best place I have stayed at in terms of hospitality, value for money and amenities. They had a driver pick up me and my friends from the Airport, and also dropped us off in the end too. On the first day, Christine offered to drive us to the local supermarket which was really helpful as we would have gotten lost otherwise! Their complex is formed of three Villas which share a large pool, but each has its own private heated pool. As it was still quite chilly when we stayed, the heated pool was useful as it meant we could still enjoy it without being cold! Their cleaner came every day at a time we requested through Christine and Daniel's app, and did an amazing job making the place feel brand new each time we came back after a long day outside. The town is a 7 minute drive by car, a taxi is only 10 euros. However we hired quad bikes for a few days, which was perfect because the villa had private parking too. Long story short, if you're planning on visiting Mykonos with your partner, friends or family, O Lofos is the best place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay on the yacht. It’s in a fabulous location, you can walk to town in 15 minutes or catch the Sea Bus for 2 euro. The host/chef/all round wonder man really looked after us and went that extra mile to ensure our stay was extra special. Yacht was spotless and nothing beats drifting off to sleep at night with the soft splash of the waves against to boat. Thank you sooooo much and we hope to see you again next year! If you want to go back to a small but fine hotel for a change, just outside the hustle and bustle of Mykonos, this is the place to be. However, you need a car, moped scooter or quad to get to beaches, city or restaurant. The hotel does offer a shuttle but it costs between 20-40€ per ride (should be adjusted by the hotel), considering that a moped starts from 30€ per day it does not pay off. The taxi trip is underground and the bus is 30min away. The staff is all super friendly and is always on hand. The hotel is clean and modern, but it speaks to young adults as there is loud music by the pool during the day, which invites you to party. There are a few small shortcomings, if you are in the lower area you have to enter the room via the balcony which is a bit exceptional. The air conditioning is turned on daily by the cleaners which is quite annoying because you can no longer heat the room because the air conditioning does not offer a heating function. (The room is generally cold equipped) The last drawback is that the toilet is quite open and close to the bed and if you are on site with a partner you are not quite as close to, it is quite uncomfortable 😅 All in all it was great there and we would come back.

Probably one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Panos and his team were excellent hosts, and the rooms and view are stunning. I would recommend anyone staying here to hire a car or ATV, as it is hilly and not in particularly close to the main sights. If you hire a car or ATV, this place is perfect. Thanks Panos and Amy!
