We had such a great stay! The Aux Box was cozy, clean, and very well maintained. The short walk up was totally reasonable and easily accomplished with bags. Perfect place to hunker down during a snow storm! ❄️

A beautiful cottage for a winter getaway! So relaxing with the hot tub and sauna! Quiet and peaceful area. The cottage was extremely clean and all amenities provided. Great location for visitors exploring Huntsville and Arrowhead Provincial park for winter activities. Would definitely come back!

My husband and I spent a few nights here and it was fantastic. Brad and Erin were friendly and very responsive! The cottage was everything we were looking for. Quant, private, hot tub, on the lake, pet friendly. What more could you ask for? Highly, highly recommend!

To say that Marsha thought of everything, is a giant understatement. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean and perfect for our weekend. The little touches made it that much more special. We have stayed at Airbnb’s around the world and this was a step above any other place we have stayed. Beautiful location, private, the hot tub was such a welcome after an active winter day. We will definitely keep it in mind for future stays

We had a lovely stay at Sochet’s place! It’s absolutely stunning, well taken care of, and easy to find. Sochet is also very communicable. I would be weary when travelling in the winter and ensure your vehicle is well equipped to handle the conditions - we have a crossover SUV that struggled to get up the steep, narrow driveway due to ice. The parking space is also very tight this time of year, and we couldn’t fit more than two vehicles. Just a word of caution :)

Chelsea was a fantastic host and provided a fabulous cottage for our long weekend with friends. The property itself was perfect for a winter wonderland getaway - between enjoying the hot tub and snowshoeing on the lake, we had a great long weekend! The host was prompt and helpful when we had questions, she prepared us for the trip beforehand and helped us while we were there with anything we needed. We appreciate their attention to detail and comfort while we were there. We also brought our two "fur babies" and they loved the property too! Thank you so much for an incredible place for the weekend - maybe we will return in the summer if there is the opportunity :) Take care and thank you again, Chelsea!

We had a great time staying at Anne’s cottage! The place was spotless and absolutely gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. We came here in February (with snow storms and freezing weather) but the heating system is very capable, floors are warm, and the hot water is instant. Amenities are available as listed as well. Anne and Reid were very responsive and helpful, and overall we had a great time.

Our stay at Sky’s cabin was awesome! It’s a beautiful home and the location from the highway and main Gravenhurst was perfect. The place is just as beautiful as the photos depict it to be. The sauna was a great touch, unfortunately the hot tub didn’t work out for the trip but not a big deal. The Airbnb is on well water, which has a bit of a smell but also not a big deal. Highly recommend bringing a case of water bottles if you’re sensitive to smell though & for drinking water as a must! The only issue we truly encountered was a lack of hand soap and dish soap, they were near empty when we arrived. Would recommend bringing that yourselves just in case. Overall, we loved our stay and it’s a perfect place for a small getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. Host was very prompt and answering questions. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit area and spent time out the front of the cottage at a table and chairs set since that’s where the sun seemed to be most of the day. The firewood provided was very much a bonus that was appreciated, especially since we had a chilly week. The water off the dock is lovely to jump into and the stairs allowed our pets to climb into the water.

We really enjoyed our stay at Helve! The lake is beautiful, the trails are well maintained, it was peaceful and quiet at night. The bedrooms are larger than expected and the main area was great for hanging out and cooking. The fire pit was fun to use and our toddler enjoyed playing around the beach/boat launch. We hope to be back for another stay at this cabin in the woods.

My friends and I stayed at this cottage over Thanksgiving weekend and had an amazing time! The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. The location was beautiful, with the canoe, kayak and pedal boat being an amazing way to explore the lake. Kristian was also a great host - responded fast, gave recommendations, and was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place!

Exactly as pictured/described, everything you need. Lixin is very friendly and responsive. Helpful with any questions you may have. Kids loves the bunk beds and we had a blast. Looking into booking in the summer.

We stayed for 4 nights at this cottage in late September, just as the autumn leaves were setting in. It was rainy at night but we enjoyed cozy nights watching The Hobbit or playing board games by the roaring fireplace. During the days, we did multiple hikes around Hardy Lake, went to Bala (a very quaint town-we made jokes about being in a cheesy Hallmark movie), toured the cranberry bogs and trails with hot wine drinks and just enjoyed time at the cottage. There is something for everyone whether you’re a cook, book-lover or outdoors enthusiast. We brought our two dogs who loved hiking the trails, watching chipmunks, swimming near the shore , and lounging on the dock. They even got into the canoe. There was a friendly senior dog who wandered down to say hi a couple times. The highlight of it all- we got engaged there! :) :) :) Sarah and Chris, you must be so proud of this enchanting cottage where so many special life moments were created.

The location is excellent with only about a 2.5 hour drive from midtown Toronto. The cottage is actually on a very quiet street that comes to a dead end, so the traffic is minimal and give a real getaway experience. The cottage is self is quite roomy with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The team takes great care of the property and the communication was excellent. We are hoping to get a chance to come in the summer as well and experience the lake when it is not frozen. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you,

Wonderful place to stay in the winter and enjoy the woodstove!

I just had the pleasure of staying at this winter cottage with my friends, and it was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a clean and cozy atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The cottage was perfect—spacious, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One standout part of our stay was how helpful Samuel was. We had many questions about snow removal and ensuring the streets were safe to travel on during the winter weather. The communication throughout our stay was excellent, and Samuel made sure we felt completely taken care of. We would definitely come back anytime and are even thinking of trying it out during the summer! Thanks again!!

Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The cottage !! This was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect in size for our stay with beautiful views. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable, great bathroom with enough towels and necessities for everyone. The location was driving distance to a ton of restaurants and outdoor activities. We stayed during the winter time and it was the perfect winter wonderland getaway and will most likely also be booking for the summer ! The hosts !!!!!! I can’t say enough about them. We had an emergency just days before check in and they were very accommodating to helping us shift our cabin stay ( we were lucky they had the availability to do so for us ) They gave us recommendations on what to do in the are and were extremely responsive every time I reached out ! We absolutely loved our stay, we have zero complaints and will be back :)

Location was fantastic. Easy driving distance to towns and trails. A good central location for the places we wanted to go. If you have young children the stairs may be an issue as they are quite steep and hard to navigate in the middle of the night. Upstairs is quite spacious so we took an air mattress and one of our kids slept there while the other took the bed.

amazing spot very cozy, absolutely stunning. Madeline was very helpful and accommodating. the only issue was we couldn't find a broom to sweep the floors when we left lol. so I give a full star rating thanks for letting us check in early and allowing us to park the trailer at the Airbnb while we went atving in the beautiful area. this is a must book for anyone and everyone
