Vacation rentals in Murphy Village

PROS Peaceful open floor plan house perfect for a week by the lake. Host is responsive and home very clean. Perfect for limited mobility, 1 step into home and going around house with small slope can access water with walker or cane, possibly wheelchair, without using steps on back porch. Kitchen is well stocked and bathroom shower is roomy and easy to get into, 1 small step. Floating dock is perfect for boat tour to pick you up right at airbnb. In the middle of the South Shore of Lake Murray with locals as neighbors, entire area feels local vs touristy. 30min from Columbia, 1hr from Aiken SC/Congaree National Park. CONS Home is a little close to 378 and you can hear some road noise, not overwhelming and you still have a peaceful environment. That's it! You won't regret staying here, we loved it!

Our stay was wonderful. Karen really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The villa was spotless, and you can really see/feel the care she put into furnishing it. I could not ask for better communication. Her anticipation to our needs (we spent a day at the Master's Golf Tournament) was top-notch. Also, recommendations she gave to us about local activities and restaurants was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

House is spotless and well-appointed. Backyard is peaceful and private. Hosts were pleasant and very responsive. For long-term stays, I recommend discussing the trash management for your stay before booking, since the hosts do not use the neighborhood's trash pickup service and instead utilize a freezer in the garage; when full, the guest is expected to make a trip to the dump. Overall, however, our stay was relaxing and we appreciated the Savannah Lakes Village's and home's amenities.

This was such a sweet little cabin on the lake! I left wondering how much it would be to build one just like it on some land back home! Great use of space and close to the water. Also there is a boat ramp just down the road. Really convenient!

Five stars for this wonderful home with even better hosts! This spot is ideal for your visit to Augusta and the hosts were incredibly communicative, friendly, and had the home set up like it was family coming to town to stay.

One of the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! Owner was very responsive and place was clean and warm and cozy! Would definitely stay there again if ever in Aiken SC!

But for Hurricane Helene interrupting my stay (in town for the Augusta Ironman), my experience with this property and the host could not have been any better! House is comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It is located in a very nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood. Just blocks to Augusta National, grocery, and food. About 5 mins from downtown (try Savannah River Brewing). Caring and timely interactions with host after devastating storm hit. Will look forward to staying next year. Thank you!

Beautiful home that worked perfectly for our family of 4. The home was exactly as described and what we needed. The backyard was a bonus for our kids to run around. The neighborhood is very walkable and was close to where we were visiting. Easy access to the interstate, gas, groceries, and Augusta. Thank you for sharing your home!
