HEDGE GUEST HOUSE

LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a few issues that could have been avoided but Sempijja was pleasant and offered us compensation. House wasn’t cleaned properly but he was extremely apologetic and explained it was an oversight. Suggested they provide drinking water for guests, tea/coffee and basic necessities. Lots of congestion with traffic so try to arrive outside of rush hour. The road in off of Masaka Rd is pretty rough but it’s easy to find. The house, pool and gardens are lovely. It’s very private and fairly quiet during the day, however there is a bar nearby that plays loud music until 4-5 am pretty much every night and a mosque nearby that shouts their call to prayer at 5 am. The fan helped drown out some of the noise. Suggestion - you really need fans for every room. There were only 2 for 6 bedrooms. The pool was amazing and beautiful surroundings. Partly shaded by a large palm which is great if you have sensitive skin. All in all we enjoyed our time and will return.
A bright living room is presented, featuring black leather couches arranged around a glass coffee table. A large flat-screen TV is mounted on a stylish accent wall, accompanied by decorative shelving. Natural light filters through sheer curtains, enhancing the inviting space.

Bethany homes - Lubowa

Title: Wonderful Stay! Review: We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Sharon’s place. From start to finish, everything was great. The communication with Lynn was smooth and prompt, making everything hassle-free. The space was immaculately clean and beautiful , providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, what I loved most was that the apartment had 24/7 security , a super market , Sauna and a Gym with in the premises , Quality shopping centre was with in 5 mins and had beautiful shops , cafes and restaurants . We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. I will miss my morning walks in the hills of beautiful Lubowa. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Sharon and their property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back.

Treetops House

NisargRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had an incredible stay at Mr. Andrews' place, which we happened to discover randomly on Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm welcome and genuine care that made our family vacation truly memorable. The property itself is beautifully maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality provided by his team. The staff was super cooperative and polite, always ready to assist with any request or question. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and happiness was evident throughout our stay. Every detail, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the personal touches, contributed to an experience that exceeded our expectations. This was, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnb experiences we've had, and we genuinely appreciate the effort put into making our stay so special. We highly recommend Mr. Andrews' place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway. We definitely plan to return !

Kampala Kiwatule Comfy Holiday Home

MarciRating, 5 stars68 months ago
I’ve been a frequent traveler in UG the past 8 years. This is my 4th trip to Uganda in that time. I chose this house for its location near family and friends. It’s nicely situated just south of the Northern Bypass in Kiwatule. Kiwatule is a nice calm suburb and easy access to Ntinda Road and into town. There are shops and restaurants around. The road it’s on is safe and quiet by Ugandan standards. The house itself has all the basics, but by western standards it is basic. It’s clean and well kept by the helpful caretaker who is a female and stays onsite. I stayed here with my son and his aunt and we felt welcome and well cared for. She was helpful at all hours and offered to do housekeeping and laundry for us for a reasonable fee. You will want to bring washcloths and maybe an extra bath towel and dish towels for the kitchen. You’ll need to supply your own TP once the roll you’re given is used up. There are mosquito nets on the bed. But you might want to bring a top sheet if the nice clean duvet is too hot for you. There are no fans. As is common in UG you’ll have to pay for power/electric via a little box on the wall and if you use a lot of gas for the stove (but the fee is very reasonable). There is also WiFi for a fee but I didn’t use it so I can’t say how fast it is. The house is well secured and has a gate and bars on the windows. The neighborhood is nice and one of my favorite places in all Uganda. I would use this house again!

Krista Vacations -Beautiful modern 4 bedroom house

MartinRating, 5 stars84 months ago
We spent a total of 6 days at Innocent's house and it was a very wonderful stay. John, the onsite security and all-around guy, and Betty the property manager were both exceptional hosts. Bringing my wife and our two little girls , and my wife's parents to Uganda (Africa) for their first time might have been a challenge, if not for Innocent's property and staff. We definitely did not miss the Silicon Valley while we enjoyed our vacation by the golf course at a place not too far from both the airport and Kampala city, the accommodations were very comfortable for us. John became like part of our family (definitely went above and beyond his job description). Thank you Innocent, John and Betty, we already want to come back.

Hibiscus House, Ntinda-Kigowa

NadineRating, 5 stars14 months ago
We loved staying at Hibiscus House and were very sad to leave. We felt right at home and Joseph was friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, was very clean and everything worked properly. Joseph was always around when we needed but never obtrusive or in the way and it was lovely to see his friendly face in the morning or end of a long day in Kampala. The garden and outside spaces created are beautiful and peaceful, a little haven amongst the city chaos. Joseph was quick to resolve any issues we had or teach us how to use something like the stove and geysers etc. The house is as advertised with the right rooms and bathrooms etc. Everything was great and we would definitely stay here again and hope the opportunity does arise one day.
