We had a wonderful stay at the Garden Villa. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome and clear explanation about the house with some extra tip for a refreshing spot in the area, which was more than welcome with the hot temperatures. The house was perfect, clean and fully equipped. The shade on the terras provided by the grape vine made it a good place to relax, just be aware of the mosquitos, even during daytime 😉 The village of Stanjel is really charming and the perfect location to discover the area and wider region (Slovenia, Trieste) I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Ingrid's. The house is very nice, peaceful and clean. It has a very nice indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot top and steam room. However, the house lacks air conditioning in bedrooms so the sleeping at night was a struggle. Also the outdoor swimming pool is right next to the Tiny House which makes it awkward to use while they are guests in the Tiny House but having indoor pool meant that wasn't a problem for us.

Excellent stay in a clean and well appointed house, we had everything we needed and Esther was very considerate and caring for our family. House in a quiet street with a beautiful pool.

I know I have previously reviewed this property, but I must update my review to include that Sonja is quite literally the most accommodating host I have ever had the pleasure of communicating with. She was willing to work with me on early check in times, late check out times and, upon needing to extend my travel, allowed me to book additional days the following week, even offering me a complimentary stay at another property to provide me with last minute accommodations while this property was booked. I cannot recommend this apartment and host enough!

Stylish, clean flat in a very quiet neighbourhood. We had everything we needed on site (the only thing we would have liked was a parasol). The surrounding area is wonderful for walking and road biking. Trieste and other towns are within easy reach. So all in all a very nice stay.

We had a fantastic time staying at Maja's place. The garden is truly a small paradise with impressive views. In a few minutes you are at the sea. Maja is a warm host who was available for any questions. The accommodation has everything you need. We felt completely comfortable. Thank you, Maja!

We had the best and cutest stay ever here. Milena welcomed us so warm, she showed us around the Apartment and gave us some food and wine. The area is really cute, a very small village but everyone we met friendly. I would recommend coming with the car because then you can explore the area more and daytrips. The italian coast is around 20 mins away by car, Milena recommended a place wherenit was really quite and not crowded. Also Trieste is pretty close. Another day we were hiking in the National park around the Soča, which was about 1 1/2 hours by car. We cooked a lot as the kitchen was very well equiped. Everything was crispy clean and if we needed anything Milena was always open for questions or recommendations. If you want a slow holiday this is the perfect place for you. Milena and her husband are also making wine by themselves and on the last evening they invited us over to try some together. I can only say thanks to them for making our stay so cozy and friendly!

I would like to thank Mrs. Branka very much for the excellent service, her hospitality and very kind welcome. We had everything we needed. A very quiet place to rest, from where you can make many trips. We would love to come back sometime.
