Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Municipality of Kobarid

This place is so beautiful. Remote and calm, yet not far from Tolmin. Renata is a very warm and welcoming host. She lives right next door and gave us loads of homemade and local products to try. A very good base for a wonderful holiday in the Soča Valley.

Marija was a great host. She was welcoming and made us feel right at home from the first moment. She had provided a lot of pointers for some nice hikes and suggested the moto rail which was a good experience and reduced our driving time. The property had very scenic views right from the doorstep. The kitchen is big and had all amenities to cook a nice meal. We stayed at this property for a week and Marija surprised us with some fresh produce from her garden at times. Also, based on some of the past reviews they have now installed an extra door to add complete privacy for the guests, so when we pass through the corridor, we no longer overlook their flat on the ground floor. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to our friends when visiting the area.

Outstanding on all fronts.

There were two of us with three lovely dogs, but the place was perfect for that. Great is your own unfenced garden. There is a private parking right at the house in a winding alley. Washing machine is available, dishwasher is not. There are many games and extensive information material for excursions. A nice area to do something outside. We and our dogs loved staying at Lisa's place - thank you so much for that!

We've just had the most amazing family winter holiday here! We experienced beautiful snow fall so played on the slight slopes outside the house and had lovely walks through the forest too. The village is pretty and we found a little pub offering mulled wine too. No shops here, so we stocked up at the big shops in Bled en route, (about half an hour away). The house is amazing! Everything we needed and the owners were so kind to put up Christmas decorations and even a tree! Our whole family (8 adults and a 2 year old) agree that we need to return some day.

We were very warmly welcomed by Tina, who gave a short explanation and many tips for the area. You feel that this is a house where they lived as a family, many authentic elements have been preserved, yet with the necessary new comforts (air conditioning hot/cold, oven, fridge..), there is a private parking space, coffee, herbs,.. We even got a Slovenian welcome wine and apple juice. The bathroom is not new but the shower is lovely and everything is super clean. We also used the washing machine (with free detergent). The road to the cottage itself goes through narrow curves and took some getting used to but once upstairs it was wonderful to stay. Plenty of fields to stroll in and also our four-legged friend was received super sweetly. Thanks for this authentic and enjoyable stay! 🫶🏻

A very cozy house. We enjoyed coffee, breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner moments outside in front of the house. Everything is available for a pleasant stay. You can really relax and unwind here. 2 nice sunbeds to read a book in the shade of the willow in front of the house while you only hear the humming of the bees and the occasional cowbell or bird. There was a complete information folder, including a story about the history of the house, the family (and Slovenia). We greatly appreciated that. Good WiFi, air conditioning and BBQ. Beautiful flowering plants in pots all around the house. A few times a day we walked up with the dog for a nice sunrise or sunset. Friendly neighbors. Watch the starry sky in the sunbeds every night. You will find atmosphere and real silence in Iztok's house.

We loved our month stay here. It rained a lot but we were cozy and enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the beautiful drives through the cloud draped mountains and found so much to do in the area. From walking in the mountains and along the river to taking tours of WW1 bunkers and the Kobarid museum and the neanderthal cave, to visiting the lace school and mercury mine in Idrija. It was all fun. Tanja was always available for questions and taught us how to use their inside heating systems. This is really a great place to do as little as you want or as much as you want.

Janez was super helpful and available. Place is neat, pretty and practical. We would easily come back !

Beautiful house in beautiful, quiet surroundings with its own stream in the garden. The drive is a bit adventurous over a serpentine road, but easily accessible. We felt very comfortable.

We had a great time with our son at Dragicas apartment. We felt right at home and the location is just perfect to go out and see the beautiful places in the soca valley, as well as just being there and enjoy and relax. We would really love to come back and spend time there again.

Amazing couple of days stay in Most Na Soci. Property was sizeable and had all the utilities we needed. Host was amazing and was kind enough to give us a lift too and from the train station when we arrived and departed. Couldn’t recommend more!

We had a very pleasant stay, starting with the warmest welcome I ever experienced with an Airbnb. We had enough privacy during our stay and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with a river swimming spot just across the road. The immediate vicinity of the train wasn’t a problem. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time! From the welcome, to the outdoor kitchen, the many tips and the beautiful and well thought-out apartment, everything was there. Katja and her husband did a really good job and in addition: she is so kind. You will feel home as you enter their apartment! Anyone who misses out on this chance to relax has only themselves to blame! 10/10

Excellent location and perfect host. We had a few unusual requests and the host's proactive response was above and beyond what is expected. Their inspiration and guidance made the days very special and we strongly recommend this fine location, in fact we hope to be back to enjoy the river and the many beautiful locations close to beautiful small village.

We had a one night stay in the unit. It was a perfect base to explore the local area. Would reccomend.

Scenery was great from the view of the Alps to the vibrant stars at night. Greeted with baked goods was a nice touch, and goodies for the kids...HHospitality was great. Quick response to any questions and or needed recommendations. House had all amenities you could need. We loved that there were numerous hiking trails you could walk to...along with waterfalls. 4 mins away was Slap Kozjak (must visit). Great experience and hope to visit again.

We had a nice stay at Edward’s place!

The place in the village of Kamno is really very quiet and cozy. We stayed there for 9 nights and felt very much at home. The Soca river is within walking distance of the property, which could always combine this with a nice evening walk. There is also a nice terrace where you could start your day relaxed. The place has also allowed us to drive up to the Adriatic coast, which can be reached in about 1:45 min drive, both on the Slovenian or the Italian coast. Finally, you can do a lot of things to do from this location, so we definitely recommend a visit to Kamno!

Lisa is a fabulous host. So many little extra touches. The kids especially loved the chocolates and the selection of cereals. As a family of five, we had a very comfortable and restful one night stay. The photos don’t do the place justice - it is more beautiful and spacious. Rural setting provides beautiful views from the fabulous balcony. We would definitely return if we come back this way - highly recommend!

We enjoyed these three nights spent in the pavilion rented by Rok in a small quiet hamlet just next to Kobarid. The large terrace is lovely. Communication with Rok was easy and we were able to take advantage of his tips for our activities. Thanks to him!

Eduard's place is well equipped for lager groups. The location is ideal to explore the Soča/Izonso valley. Eduard and his fellow hosts were responsive and very friendly. All in all, we had an excellent stay.
