The road is a real rugged mountain road. We couldn't access the place with our city car. But immediately Slave offered to accompany us with his vehicle. The accommodation is atypical, comfortable and spacious. The views are beautiful, tranquility is a break out of time. You have to stay for at least two nights to enjoy this unique atmosphere. Slave and his wife are kind and kind hosts. They were especially thoughtful with our daughter. It's an experience to have.

Easily the best place with the best hosts we have ever been to. Clean-spotless, new, comfortable, private, it has everything you need and more. That gallery window with ottoman to seat in front of it was to die for. Even board games, literally everything! Pillows and the mattresses are so comfortable, there is a lot of spare bedding if you want or need. The front and back yards are in pristine condition, we enjoyed them so much. Don't get me start about the hosts! They are so nice, so easy to talk to, so helpful. Eve our dog had the perfect time with that beautiful yard. We have three children, one with special needs, everything that we asked for was done for us, we were accommodated better than we can ever imagine. We highly, highly recommend this place, and it's wonderful hosts. We will be coming back many, many times in the future.

The apartment is very cozy. You have everything you need. It’s very close to the Skicenter so it is perfect for a winter skiing holiday! Since the apartment building is on a slope, during a heavy snowfall the parking close to the house is not accessible without a winter ready car. Definitely recommended

We had an amazing time with our Dalmatians. Host is really nice and friendly and his parents are really amazing. We were nicely welcomed and we felt at home. All neighbors came to congratulate us for our success on the dog shows in Mavrovo. We made new friends, we visited nice places and we had a lot of fun.

I stayed here for a month and loved it. The house sits at the end of the village, a short walk from the lake and a fair distance from the local dogs the get a bit excitable at times. The rooms and decor are a bit dated, but there's plenty of space and it's extremely comfortable. I loved my room on the second floor, which was at the front of the building, looking straight out at forested hillsides and obliquely to the lake, with a balcony and big windows to make the most of the view and create a lovely sensation of airy space. The shower was hot and the kitchen, although small, has everything you need; anything it doesn't have, all you need to do is ask Dean and he'll provide it. He's a great host, always friendly and willing to go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. His dad lives in the house next door and is also a wonderful fellow. Not much happens in Leunovo - no restaurants, bars - but you can swim in the lake and there's great walking in the mountains. Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay in Mavrovo at Martin’s beautiful chalet. Lots to do and see in local area and house was excellent sleeping 7 people comfortably. Martin was responsive and had some great recommendations including food at Neda nearby which was the best we’ve had in the area, if not all of Macedonia. Is definitely quieter in the summer but means you have the local attractions including great hikes and activities all to yourself!

The mountain fortress

Simon was a great host! His house was fully stocked and heated when we arrived in the evening. The fireplace is great at heating the entire house, but there are also individual heaters for every room. The house is not at all far from the ski resort and even if you don't want to ski there are lots of beautiful and scenic walks in the area. I highly recommend renting out this house if you and a family or friends want to have a great place to rest while enjoying the natural beauty of Mavrovo.

Stefan responded immediately, and upon arrival, the place was already warm. The house was clean and had all the utilities that you would need. The overlook of the lake was amazing, and the place was very easy to find and get to.

This place was everything we needed for our weekend getaway in Mavrovo. Great location, amenities, view in a non-pretentious homey Vila where a group of friends could relax and have a great time by the crackling wood stove. The kitchen was fully equipped, the view from the balconies was stunning, and the closed gazebo was really cool to hang out in. Will definitely come back for this experience.
