Lovely place in the countryside, this was a gift for our son, his girlfriend and dog,so the review is entirely based on their experience- “ everything was lovely and as described, loved the fact it was so peaceful and surrounded by wildlife, yet close enough to lunan bay, Arbroath etc… milk and shortbread on arrival were nice touches, check in was easy, the host communicated well, furniture was clean and comfortable, overall a perfect stay, would highly recommend”

We stayed at Sandra’s place for a get together with family, along with our dogs. It was very homely and suited our needs without worrying too much about our dogs or grandson causing too much mess. The place was tidy, yes there were a few areas that were a bit dusty or rickety but it’s a big old house and we as a family were very happy with our stay, enjoying our cosy evenings around the big open fire. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage in the most peaceful and gorgeous location. Spotless accommodation. Cosy and fully heated with supplies for the log burner which heated the living space amazingly 😁 Highly recommend Rowan Cottage. Lovely hosts, responsive and gave wonderful recommendations 😍

Perfect place for us to stay while in the area for a family celebration. Beautifully renovated with quality beds and furnishings. Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean with friendly in communications. Would highly recommended William’s place and hope to stay again sometime.

We visit St Andrews several times a year and always stay in apartments when visiting our daughter. This was by far the nicest we have stayed in as it’s so clearly stayed in by the owners and wasn’t as clinical as some others. Nicely decorated, Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and well equipped kitchen and the added bonus of secure parking. Easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops and beaches. We definitely hope to stay here again.

An excellent modern ground floor 2 bedroom apartment in a great location for exploring the East Neuk of Fife. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy and provided everything required for a comfortable stay.

Excellent apartment, very well equipped and cosy and homely. We felt at home. The location is great, a matter of metres from thhe beach and the amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs of North Berwick are very close, The railway station is only 10 minute walk and Edinburgh a short rail journey. We certainly want to return and explore the area further and Barbara's apartment is a superb base. Richard and Chris
