Honeymoon cottage

CathyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Martin was a very helpful and responsive host. We arrived in the evening to find the house opened with lights on and the stove lit, it was very welcoming on a cold night. The house is in a scenic location and is very peaceful and private. All the beds were comfortable with good storage in each room. The bathroom is bright and modern with plenty of hot running water. Extra towels were available for our use. The kitchen dining living space is extremely spacious with a double height ceiling. It’s a very attractive space and ideal for a young family. The kitchen was well kitted out with all the essentials for cooking and an abundance of tableware. There are plentiful ledges for food preparation, with a large table as well as an island. A separate utility was another useful feature. Martin was a flexible host which we greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend honeymoon cottage.

We had a lovely stay, the location is perfect for nice walks, scenery and a beautiful private stream at the back of the house. Such a peaceful place. Denis and Joyce were perfect hosts they made us feel so welcome and gave us really good tips on local places to visit. A short walk to Feakle village which has a few pubs and a restaurant called Peppers at the end of the village. Such a friendly and welcoming place to visit, perfect for a nice get away and some down time.

Scenic views & pleasant environs

Cormac is an Excellent Host, Cormac goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The house has an incredible view. The private parking is a huge perk as Kinvara is a busy place. Cormac’s house is central to everything and Kinvara is a phenomenal town to visit for vacation. It is central to many things; Galway, the Burren, other coastal towns and beaches. We hope to come back and stay with Cormac again. Felt right at home.

I loved my stay at John and Toni’s! They were very responsive and friendly, and went above and beyond for me. The space was well-stocked and cosy and clean. I had everything I needed. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer! It’s a bit of a ways from town but the walk is totally doable and I wasn’t out and about every day. Recommended!

Traditional Rural Cottage with Bags of Character

Tracy was a great host - warm and welcoming to both me and my dog Dean! Her place is a gem. It is beautifully restored, clean and very comfortable. The local bread for breakfast was a lovely touch. There is lots to do in the area once you have a car. I look forward to returning. Thanks Tracy.
