Cabin vacation rentals in Mountain Rest

We got this cabin for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect! It was super clean and such a peaceful experience. Definitely will be coming back to this spot in the future.

We loved every minute of our stay at Little Woodchuck! This place was so peaceful and quiet, with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Stone Creek Vineyard was excellent, and Clayton Cafe served a delicious, filling breakfast. The cabin was spotless upon our arrival, and the hot tub was perfectly clean as well. Since it rained all weekend, we spent most of our time at the cabin and felt incredibly comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. We absolutely loved our stay!

THE VIEWS. A wonderful stay. A beautiful location. Above and beyond accommodations for a large family with kids. The cutest cabin with SO many beds. Tiffany was a fantastic and communicative host. Our family is looking forward to coming back already planning something for next year. If you are looking for something reasonable in price but not lacking in space and activities for a family gathering this is definitely the cabin. And did I mention the VIEWS

VIEWS !!! This little gem is nestled on the mountain side perfect for a quiet, restful getaway. You really won’t want to leave but if you do, Brevard is easy to get to and the cutest little mountain town. The space was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub, the coziness of the cabin and ability to bring our fur babies. The sunrise and sunset are amazing from the cabin. Simple and beautiful escape!! You won’t regret staying here !

Beautiful place, so much charm! We enjoyed a peaceful New Year’s Eve in the mountains and started 2025 off with a homemade brunch, drinking coffee and watching birds out the windows. Lovely. Patricia was very communicative and everything we could want or need was provided and thought of. This is a very very good find!

The views at this cabin are absolutely amazing! It is so quiet and peaceful, we really enjoyed learning about the history of the cabin; the work and love put into building it. My husband and I try to plan a trip every year somewhere different for our anniversary, but we plan to try to come back next fall/winter for our 9th anniversary.

We loved our stay at Britt’s cabin! We used the hot tub and spent a significant amount of time on the deck overlooking the mountains. We loved the coffee bar and the comfy throw blankets. We would definitely stay again!

The place was perfect for what we had in mind. It was a great spot for our Christmas trip. The recommendations for food were spot on!

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Justin’s place. It was very peaceful and cozy! We would stay here again in the future.

After a long and treacherous drive it was so nice to feel at home at Daniels lake house It was especially great for my daughter who is a college senior to get away from her surroundings for a few days We had so much fun having Thanksgiving together just the four of us We played board games and watched a ton of football We will definitely be returning

Our stay in Sky Valley, GA, over Christmas was truly unforgettable! While we didn’t have snow, the house still felt like a cozy winter retreat, with the cool mountain air and peaceful surroundings creating the perfect atmosphere for the holidays. The gas fireplace made it the perfect spot to get cozy and relax while watching Christmas movies. The view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. The house itself was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen was fully equipped and the garage was set up with a ping pong and poker table. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed and providing great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, festive holiday escape in the mountains!

This review will be written with 100% transparency. First off, the hosts—Drew and Rebecca—are EXCEPTIONAL. They were proactive, they really thought of each detail to make the cabin work for the guests and not the other way around. They had a binder made of details of the home you wouldn’t think to ask but are crucial to know, there were plugs on the outlets where you can plug in USBs if you don’t have the cube for your charger, there was a whole stack of seasonings that you wouldn’t think to bring really but they are there for you just in case. Also, they respond in 30 sec (reaaaaaally fast), and when we experienced an issue with the fireplace (it’s not something we own in FL), they came within the hour to fix it themselves. Okay, I'm running out of characters but I have to share they are truly a dream to work with and they made my Dad’s birthday truly a memorable one. I only want to work with them and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. It was evident that they care for their guests.

We stayed here for a girls retreat and it couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful house in the mountains. It was so nice to disconnect while still having a lot for the kids to do. We loved the kitchen and amenities. Lisa was a great host and answered all questions quickly. Cannot wait to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a couple issues arise during our trip and Chaz handled them promptly. He was very responsive to our concerns and addressed them immediately. We would gladly rent from him again.

This was my first time ever using AirBnB and also staying with Postcard Cabins at their Lake Hartwell location. Everything was wonderful, from the views to the coziness of the cabin. We were staying there for my girlfriend's birthday since she loves the outdoors, and she was also so happy. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Host was very good at providing information to us prior to check in. Place was clean and accommodating. Very convenient for events near Green Pond landing. The covered boat storage is an amazing plus for fisherman!

The Dancing Bears Cabin was a great place to stay to see a part of Northern GA! The cabin has such a cozy feel for this time of year. My significant other and I stayed for three nights and we would definitely make the trip back to stay even longer. It’s a great place to have a stay in day or two because it was all the amenities you could ask for along with the bonuses of a hot tub and pool table. It was also about 30-40 minutes to Helen, GA which was worth it. Allye is a fantastic host, because she had timely communication and gave detailed instructions for amenities and easy to follow rules.

We had a wonderful stay and a great time at the cabin. This was the most well stocked vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. We didn’t need to bring anything other than food. We all liked the upgrades and improvements that were made since our parents lived there. Susan made sure that we had all the info that we needed before our check in, and again shortly after our arrival, which is also above and beyond what we have experienced in other rentals. Thank you for the opportunity to revisit the cabin and gather with family that we don’t get together with often!
