Vacation rentals in Mount Pleasant

What an absolute "gem" in the woods. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Jennifer was very receptive and periodically checked "to make sure" everything was okay. The house was in a secluded and quiet wooded neighborhood. There is something to be said about enjoying a hot cup of coffee sitting and the porch and taking in the sights and sounds of autumn and the smell of the fallen leaves. The dogs had a great time exploring the fenced in yard. I have a passion for cooking and found the kitchen supplied with an abundant supply of cooking utensils and pots and pans with a large kitchen table to sit down and enjoy those dishes. Quiet time in the evenings were spent watching movies in the family rooms. The house is centrally located and never more than an hour away from our daily adventures in various areas in the state. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly stay here again.

We came for my boyfriend's 25th birthday. It was an amazing little retreat for us! The hot tub was very relaxing (and clean!), we loved boating on the lake, and the fire pit was perfect for our needs. Definitely worth the visit! Thank you!

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

Was very nice to get away and just relax. There was a storm hitting the area and very cold and windy but the home was very comfortable. Felt at home and will definitely be back over the summer!

The Cottage at Mann Lake is a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed here for many years in a row. It is our annual "ice fishing" trip, in which we don't always fish anymore since there is always fun to be had inside. Another great weekend spent at the cottage!

We stayed at the place for thanksgiving and were a little apprehensive about the space available, but the photos did not do it justice. The place was bigger than expected with plenty of room for a family of 5. Everything we needed was there, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I’d highly recommend this place as it’s close enough to Grand Rapids that it doesn’t feel far, but far enough away that it feels like you’re a long way from the busy life.

Host was very helpful and responsive. House was perfect. Felt very at home. Plenty of amenities. They had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Would 100% stay here again if in the area. Definitely recommend staying here. Host was very responsive to questions. A++++++

Exactly as described. Had a comforting older home grandma feel. All the furniture was comfortable. Loved the recliners! Loved the foos ball, fireplace thingy in the basement, deck, outdoor fire pit and the wildlife! Had some frustration with the heating system. Theres a weird mix and match heating system with no written instructions on how to control the heating. There is no air conditioning at all which made for some discomfort on days it reached the 50s. Enjoyed our stay! Home was really clean! Love that bedding and furniture was not white!

Our stay was a very positive one. The hospitality of both the owners and managers was fantastic. Managers lived right across the street which was super convenient just in case they were needed. The home was well furnished, cutely decorated and it was very home like. We had an overall great experience!

We really enjoyed staying at Lisa’s. We unfortunately didn’t get to use many of the amenities because we were very busy while there. Hopefully you can!

Fantastic getaway for group of friends. Atmosphere and property was exactly what we needed and a good value. Very clean, updated, and had the amenities to make it a very enjoyable stay.

We feel so fortunate to have found this beautiful home, spacious enough for our kids, their spouses and our grandchildren! The kitchen is so well stocked with not only everything you’ll need for cooking, but also with spices and condiments! We will not hesitate to book this home again! Ben was so responsive to my questions and his communication was great! No complaints about this beautiful rental!

This is my group’s second time at The Point House, and it was another great experience! We did choose a windy weekend both times, and the ample social space inside made entertainment easy even as the gale closed some nearby roads with downed trees and lines! If we’re in the area again in the future, I suspect we’ll stay once more!

Jeff and Ashlee are both amazing. We felt so at home. The cabin was more than we hoped for. You feel like you’re sitting right on the beach from pretty much anywhere in the cabin. We started looking for availability for our next trip before we even left. We already miss the two Eagles and the mallard ducks! It was our 47th anniversary and staying in the fishbowl made it perfect. Don’t have one negative thing to say.
