Vacation rentals in Mount Jo

My husband, son, and I returned to Shalonie's place for another stay since we knew it would be comfortable and peaceful for us. Again this time, Shalonie is a wonderful host and the cottage was clean, great location for exploring the ADK, and had all we needed and more. Grateful for a terrific stay!

What a beautiful house! I really appreciated the kitchen space and all of the extra things that made cooking for 16 people so easy. It was like being home instead of needing things to make meals work. My 15 students loved all the games and being able to spread out on the couches made it feel so cozy! The tub in the master suite was glorious. I should have brought some epsom salts or bubbles but it was so nice to have it after hiking Giant Mountain! I’m looking forward to bringing my students up again next year!!

Cynthia was very responsive and flexible with our situation and a death in the family. Her home was perfect for the 5 of us to stay in and be in the beautiful peaceful adirondack surroundings. Thank you so much Cynthia.

Great home, great stay, great host. Highly recommend! Fully equipped and stocked with more than most places we’ve stayed at - a big plus in my book!! Edin was very flexible, responsive, and friendly. The home was gorgeous - exactly like the photos showed. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway very much!

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

Lovely stay! We would come back. Easily accommodated 6 of us with loads of room to spread out. Comfy beds, clean, stylish, gorgeous neighborhood. Lovely lovely!!!

We had a last minute request to stay and Michael responded so quickly and was extremely accommodating. The house was well appointed for our group and we had an amazing stay. Will definitely be reaching out again in the future if we have a large group of people.

the pictures absolutely do not do it justice we were looking out at a beautiful painting from every one of the windows it was more quiet than any other Airbnb we've ever been at truly looking forward to coming back again Adam was a great communicator and cared about everything gave us great advice on where and when to go and was completely flexible have no words to describe how beautiful our stay was it was a great value
