Had the best stay at martyns place! perfect location and the place is just perfect. Very comfortable clean and had absolutely everything we needed would definitely be back!

The stunning Mountain View’s from her apartment are to die for. I absolutely loved eating breakfast with a view. So stunning.

It was lovely meeting Sharon and a privilege to stay somewhere so fantastic. We stayed in the blue yurt and while I'm sure all of them are great I think we had the best one. it's situated on the highest point of the mountain overlooking directly into the king valley. It was a little cool and windy during our stay but inside you wouldn't know. the small wood heater/stove heated the place perfectly and the bed was quite comfortable. while the lighting is minimal you don't need much and Sharon has a large supply of torches and lanterns should you need it. The standout for us had to be the shower with a view. what a glorious way to start the day and such a luxury to have gas hot water. We enjoyed our stay and the local region so much we are already planning our next visit!

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Conveniently located a short drive to the shops and restaurants in Bright. We would definitely recommend Chestnut Tree as a base for going up to the mountains :)

Great location of the property. The house was so well stocked, and the welcome hamper was a delight for breakfast the next day. The locally supplied coffee was delicious. Would definitely stay again!

We had a very lovely stay at Mike and Kim’s accommodation. The two of them have lots of local knowledge and are very happy to pass on food and sights recommendations. The apartment was very big, spotless and had all amenities we needed. A lovely surprise was the pool and communal outdoor area. We will definitely come back.

We were very happy with the house. It is modern, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had cerything we needed to cook with and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. Would stay again. Highly recommend

Great host, beautiful chalet, very clean and spacious. Highly recommend the stay. Fantastic location and amazing surroundings, lots to do and the visits from the birds on the patio in the morning was a great day to start the day off. 😀
