Vacation rentals in Mount Culverden

We loved our stay in the Cottage at Riverview Lodge. The accommodation was really excellent and the views were stunning. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. All in all , a fabulous place to stay.

What a wonderful place! It looks exactly like the pictures but even more charming in person. It’s quiet and private. A lot of people mention it’s remote- I’d say that’s subjective as we didn’t find it remote; there was a town 20 minutes away and a restaurant right down the road. Brian has literally anything and everything you could ever ask for aight the amenities. There are very detailed instructions on how to use everything. We actually got to meet Brian and got to discuss his renovation of the cabin- he did a great job!! It was a great place to sit outside on a blanket and just look up at the stars. We wish we could have stayed longer than a night.

We had a lovely stay in Hanmer. The house is spacious and comfortable, with good heating and cooling. Bathrooms and kitchens are good, location is walkable to the hot pools and close to dog stream.

We enjoyed our stay. I wish we could have more time as one day was not enough to enjoy the scenery and the place itself. Highly recommended. We will come back again.

We had the most fantastic time spending 2 nights in the wine pod. This was such a unique and special place to stay. It rained for the majority of our time here and we still loved every minute as it was very peaceful. When the rain did let up, we really enjoyed the soaking tub. The entire experience was fantastic. All the extra little touches like the provided breakfast and treats really elevated the experience. Due to the bad weather we didn’t use the bikes but I’m sure that would be amazing as well. We also opted to just drink wine in the pod instead of doing the included tasting but I’m sure that would be wonderful as well. Our hosts were very friendly and checked multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a unique and fun place to stay close to Christchurch, I highly recommend visiting the wine pod.

A beautiful one night stay in Kaikoura at this quiet rural stay. Lianne was friendly and the place was perfect. Very clean, tidy and ready to go. Loved having our dinner and breakfast out in the garden with a beautiful view of the mountains and local dairy cows.
