Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Morecambe Bay

My son and his family stayed at Andrew’s property while they were visiting us from Australia. It is a fabulous property. Clean, comfortable and, with the log burner going, very cosy. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very comfy beds and the little ones loved the bunk beds. Lots of little extras including books, games, logs for the fire and even a BBQ. Ideally situated with shops, cafes and the local market all within walking distance. The railway station is nearby and and the M6 less than 5 minutes drive. Andrew responded to a couple of minor queries almost immediately. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending and would definitely use again.

Carl's place is great! Exactly what we needed, it's comfortable, clean and in a great location. Just as it looks on the pictures. Ideally located for the zoo and a short drive to the promenade. We will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay In Cleveleys, the house is in a great spot, close to the beach and within reach of all of the amenities the town has to offer.

Absolutely loved my stay; I’ve been coming to the Lakes for over 20 years and this place is the ultimate cosy retreat, just what you want to come back to after a long day out walking. The property has everything you need and is very dog friendly; I always come armed with blankets and towels but it makes it so much easier not having to worry about carpets and the coat stand came in very handy for drying things. The location is great; I arrived much later than planned in the dark and found it no problem. It feels very peaceful and private but Windermere high street is within walking distance. I will definitely be back again, thank you for a great stay!

Absolute gem of a house. Mark couldn’t have been a better host. House was spotless and extremely well appointed. Ansdell is a perfect spot as it’s easily accessible to Lytham and close to Fairhaven. My family lives in Lytham and when there is a big get together we sometimes need to find extra accommodation. This has been the best one we have found so far. Thank you Mark.

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

We spent 5 nights here at the end of March and start of April 2025. We were really fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the wonderful location: scaling Slight Side and Scafell on one day, riding to Coniston via the bridleway on another and 'bagging' most of the Coniston fells on another day via Wrynose Pass. We ate in on a couple of nights and also went to the Wainwright's for some pub grub, as well as Stoves for their evening menu. Simon and Belinda's place is very well situated in Great Langdale for all kinds of walks and rides, food and decent pints. The house itself is a lovely place to return to in the evening with easy parking outside for our van and once inside, everything is spotless, well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated all the helpful information on bike routes and walking routes and spent the late evenings by the fire pouring over the Wainwright books planning the next day's adventures. 100% recommended.

Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings. Lodge was clean and ready for when we arrived, delicious restaurant on site too. Went as a couple for a celebration- would definitely recommend

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Beautiful little cabin surrounded by stunning scenery, with many great places to visit within a short driving distance. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Andy provided lots of useful information and tips regarding the local area. We'll definitely be coming back again!

The caravan was lovely and felt like home. Found a lovely easter treat in the fridge 😋 and lots of little homly perks around the caravan which made us smile. Check in instructions were straight forward and detailed directions were given in plenty of time of arrival. Prompt responses from lisa and paul throughout the duration of our stay with useful tips to make life easier. A very enjoyable holiday in a lovely home and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only slight downside was the shower temperature. (Not sure if its shower related or user error 🤣) However, It did not ruin our holiday or our stay in any way and would definaltly love to come back again in the future for a longer stay to explore more of the surroundings. My husband and I stayed at Tethera for the long Easter weekend and we loved the cottage. It had everything we needed. Emma really has thought of everything and more. From a binder full of helpful information, well stocked kitchen with some welcome goodies, cozy living room, perfectly fluffy linen to towels for our dog, Yoda. The shower has great water pressure too! We live in London and really liked how peaceful and private it was. Yoda loved all the new scents and the animals around too! We locked ourselves out one day and Emma responded within minutes. We loved the fresh eggs her hens lay and got some back home as well. I would recommend the place to everyone. It’s spotless, extremely comfortable and perfectly placed for all the nice hikes and pretty towns of Lake District to be easily accessible. Perfect cottage with an equally perfect host.

This is a lovely place to stay in a quiet, peaceful location. Great view from the windows with lots of greenery. Coniston is nearby and a lovely spot for exploring. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and good shower- all the essentials! Hosts were also accommodating when we had a last minute change of plans due to flight times.

The most beautiful place. We were all honestly so surprised by just how beautiful the cabin and its surroundings were. It exceeded all our expectations. Had everything we needed (minus a freezer but it wasnt a problem). Bed was super comfy and my friends said the sofa bed was comfortable too. We are all planning to come back in the future.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

We had a lovely one night stay. Room was very comfortable and a beautiful garden to sit in and for dogs to play in. Instructions to get in extremely clear and great communication with host. Lovely village and plenty of places to eat or have a drink. If in the future we are back over here would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home😀 🏡

Yardi and Phil are lovely, they both make you feel right at home. Plenty communication before and during the stay. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and you have exactly what you need. There was cold drinks in the fridge, milk, bread, butter and chocolates all provided for arrival, they even gave me a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfy. Robes and slippers provided in the wardrobe for the hot tub. Couldn’t fault our stay at all.

I stayed with my two sons just for the night. It was stylish and comfortable. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t provided.

I stayed with my Mum and Sister for my Mums 70th birthday trip. We had a lovely stay. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful and actually nicer than even the pictures show. The location is beautiful, breath taking fews and it was a delight to see the animals. Jade and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. We couldn't have wished for a better trip. Thank you
