The accommodations were truly amazing! Steve's thoughtfulness for guest comfort will exceed your expectations! The location is close to many of the activities that Blowing Rock has to offer, as well as being centrally located to the other adventures this beautiful area has to offer! During this long anticipated family trip, joyous memories were made that we will forever cherish! I highly recommend this property and anticipate returning!

The home was lovely and the perfect cozy winter retreat. The mountain views were spectacular and we saw some stunning sunsets. It was great to be able to bring our pup along so she could enjoy the great hiking in the area. The winter decorations made it a special places to spend the holidays. This was our second time at Lisa's properties and we will likely be back again soon!

Castle in the Clouds says it all. We had multiple times where we were surrounded by clouds while sitting on the balcony. On ckear days the view is amazinga. Comfortable living room, table for 6, blackout curtains in the bedrooms, lots of towels, well-stocked kitchen. The double bed bunk is not connected so movement in one bed does not affect the other. Friendly service at check-out, shuttle, and security. This location is close to so many hikes, waterfalls, and tourist attractions.

The property was beautiful! Literally perfect for a weekend getaway away! I spent my birthday here and I’m so happy we came! The views of the mountains were amazing! Trey was a great host! He provided everything we needed. The place was clean, comfortable, and most importantly safe! I will recommend to friends and family! Thanks again for a smooth stay!

Amazing home and great communication! Perfect for a sugar mountain ski trip

This was our second time booking here! It’s the perfect size getaway for our annual family vacation. Our family enjoyed the multiple levels of porches and played a few games of pool downstairs. Very peaceful area!

Loved our stay so much! It was so cozy with the fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, and the best location if you are planning to ski. It was so close to the ski lifts and so easy to get to. Parking was very convenient and the airbnb was clean and felt very homey. Will be saving this location for future trips.

The view is AMAZING. 2nd floor facing ski slopes. The sunset is gorgeous from this condo. Easy check in with great indoor pool (steam room, sauna, hot tubs). Only negative is a little dated and could use new wall coverings. Other than that super clean with lots of sitting room in common room. Kitchen well equipped as we cooked in a few times. Great value! Great area!

Perfect place to stay and ski Beech, halfway between Banner Elk and Beech ski resort, 5 minutes from a grocery store and excellent restaurants. Roads are kept clear. The house is perfect our party of 3 Scouts and parents were perfectly accommodated.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Piney Bear was just lovely. Hosts could not have been more accommodating and helpful! We were there during some rough weather and Ian was kind enough to drop a bag of salt for us. Their place is beautifully decorated, with so many amenities and comforts that other hosts typically would not provide. Thank you for a great stay!
