Vacation rentals with lake access in Moose Pond

Very spacious nice peaceful home on a pretty lake within a great location. Beautiful lake views from every room. The house was immaculate with much attention to detail for our comfort. The kitchen was amazingly very well stocked with supplies. Breakfast items in fridge as well as some welcoming adult beverages were also available to us with a very welcoming message. Bonnie & Paul were exceptional friendly hosts going above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We highly recommend Bonnie and Paul’s home for the quiet, comfort, spaciousness, views, location, cleanliness, lakeside charm, and filled with everything needed for a wonderful visit in Maine. Thank you Bonnie & Paul for making our visit so enjoyable!!

Lea was nothing short of fantastic. House is huge and stunning. 5 couples stayed for the weekend, everyone had their own bedroom and space. Kitchen was perfect for us. Extra oven is a huge bonus! So many areas for great board game playing. Hot tub was nice, some of my fellow guests felt the water could’ve been cleaner, i say “turn on the jets, who cares”! My only gripe is that the toilet bowls all have years of scum build up, but it’s just an aesthetic preference. Again, my fellow guests said the water didn’t taste good, fairly iron-forward. But nothing a few jugs of water from JimBobs down the road cant fix! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The outdoor furniture is fantastic, the views are serene, and the vibes are ~pure Maine ~ 💕

We rented this house to be close to our daughter’s wedding so we were only there for a short weekend, but I would rent this place again for a full week. The home is just as described. The kitchen has just about everything you’d need for cooking. My grandchildren loved all the board games and the toys in the basement. It was nice to sit on the deck and enjoy our coffee while listening to the loons. Nice place!!

What can I say about this amazing getaway other than, we will be back! Beautiful surroundings right on the lake, with amazing decks and dock on the water. It was great to soak in the peace at this time of the year ( mid November) This house has so much between the hot tub, all the games to play, fishing poles, and tons of cozy blankets you never have to leave. If you are looking for a local restaurant, Wontons was fantastic, we recommend the Seven Lakes Special. All around great spot, and the dogs were so happy with all the sun you get on the porch.

My family and I had a fantastic time at this house on Balch Lake again this year. Justin's house is nearly perfect in every way and its honestly hard to come up with even the smallest criticism. We will likely be back.

There was nine of us and we all had a great time. There was so much room, we never felt crowded. Worth the stay.

What a beautiful house in a perfect location - near Wolfeboro, near mountains. and gorgeous view of the lake. The house was in perfect order, clean, well-taken care of and comfortable. Nadia was responsive to all questions in a very timely and friendly manner. We had a terrific time and couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

Susan’s place was the perfect spot for our getaway trip! The location and views were amazing and only a short trip to Portland. The space was spacious and exactly as pictured. We would stay here again.

The nook is a beautiful and cozy place to explore this part of Maine! Kate was an INCREDIBLY responsive and generous host, even replying to a message I sent late at night with the best northern lights viewing location I’ve ever seen. Norway and Brighton are great surrounding towns and the lakes in Harrison are beautiful spots for a swim. Everything was wonderful!

This was our second time staying at Ruth's place in Wolfeboro. You can't beat the location - its a less than 10min walk down the old rail trail/bike path to downtown (cafes, shops, restaurants are all walkable). The path is well-lit at night as well. Ruth's place was clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a weekend getaway. Check-in was easy and smooth and Ruth was proactive with communication. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying here! Tim and Joanne were so kind, they recommended us climbing Mt. Hawk (just a 5min ride away and such a beautiful view!), borrowed us some winter equipment for Mount Washington and even placed delicious muffins in the apartment. It was very clean, well equipped and cozy. We just stayed one night but wished to stay longer and explore Waterford and the beautiful nature all around. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

Christine is always flexible and welcoming. The refrigerator is well stocked with basics and she leaves a bag of fresh cookies on the kitchen table each time I arrive. The place is spotless every time, is in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants and my Dad!

We enjoyed a great weekend getaway at this place. Denise was a great host who were helpful and always quick to respond. The house is cozy and clean, perfect size for two adults. It is conveniently located while being private. We kayaked on Paugus Bay and hiked Mt Major. Would definitely come back again.

Don’t tell anyone about Shelley’s place! We want to be the only ones to be there!!!!! We had a beautiful time ! Me, my daughter and her 2 yr old son. The lake is soooooo clear and relaxing. Canoed every day. Loons in the lake everyday. Went and picked blueberries and went to the children’s museum😃 Close to Portland! We’ll bring the Daddy next time! Thanks Shelley

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

What a great stay! My friends and I needed a peaceful weekend getaway, and we definitely got it! Beautiful area around the lakes close to some great trails and towns with great restaurants. The space itself was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this stay!

Walking into Andi‘s fishing cabin felt like going to grandma‘s house! It was so cozy and nice for our quick three day weekend in Maine. Everything that has been written in previous reviews is true. Including the extensive VHS collection lol! The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and we were so happy to sleep in the sunroom and wake up to the view of the lake Pond water in front of us. Easily accessible from the main road, close to restaurants, gas stations, and other amenities, including the Hannaford grocery. My fellow found himself on the dock fishing multiple times during our stay he caught a few trout. My favorite part is the fire pit area with the café lights. I love staying in the woods and this cabin fit our needs perfectly. Andi was a responsive host and we are grateful for his communication. Very positive and friendly! Hope to stay with you again next year!

What a beautiful and peaceful home. Spacious, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed everything about our stay. We kayaked and even swam because the water looked so inviting in late September. Hope to come back to this home again soon.
