Our stay at Fare Tekea was perfect. We decided to stay at an Airbnb for 3 nights to explore Moorea before staying at the Hilton Moorea and could not be happier with our stay. The house is centrally located on the island and very close to a grocery store which made driving to excursions and picking up supplies very easy. The pool had incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the house was immaculately clean. Hiva and her husband were fantastic hosts - responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations. Great stay, great house, great hosts.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Franck's property. It is exactly as described and pictured, the check-in and overall communications were very good and proactive. The staff was very friendly and made our visit very comfortable. The included daily breakfast was very nice - local fruits, breads, meats and cheese. There are kayaks available for use and we very much enjoyed the kayaking opportunities from the property. We were lucky to be visited by the somewhat resident pod of 100+ spinner dolphins while kayaking. The beach is very nice but the water is 1-2 ft deep for 200+ yds out so not ideal for swimming. Sunsets were wonderful! Snorkeling from the kayaks would be good. There is a small grocery store directly across the street and there is a food truck turned into a permanent restaurant very close that had good pizza, burgers - including fish burgers - and kabobs. The property grounds are nicely kept with plenty of palm trees for shade. Would definitely stay again.

Everything about this place was 5-star. We loved the location on the island, and the neighborhood felt extremely safe and private! The photos and description were accurate and the rooms actually felt a little bigger than the pictures. All of the sliding glass doors were lovely to get a good air flow, the kids loved the hammock/net loft. The kitchen was well appointed with necessary items. Washer AND DRYER was a plus! No bugs or pest, felt super clean! Easy driving distance to what turned out to be all of our favorite beaches, snorkels and hikes. Thanks Puigzy!

What can be said about Maryse and Alain that hasn't already been said before? They are 2 perfect hosts, welcoming, available, discreet but available… Their kindness is commensurate with the accommodation's services; in addition to all the necessary equipment, pool and beach towels were made available to us. They were very valuable to us throughout our stay with their advice on activities, restaurants, snacks, etc. Maryse and Alain helped make our stay in Moorea even more unforgettable! We loved our stay at Vanhs place. The car included is a great bonus as having a car is a must on Moorea. Vanh and Jimmy were very accommodating, even bringing us local fruit throughout our stay. The place is in a great location close to everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped and bed is comfy. We enjoyed the porch with a great view. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Vanh

This stay exceeded our expectations! From the friendly, responsive host to the sparkling pool and beautiful grounds, we felt quite spoiled during our five-night stay. The guest house was perfect for our needs, and the location is perfectly situated on the island, especially if you have a vehicle. We hope to come back and visit again! Only tip would be that we were happy to have ear plugs, because if you leave windows open at night, the local roosters and occasional music can make sleeping a challenge. But that’s true anywhere on the island.

My husband and I agreed this was so far the best accommodation we enjoyed on our 12 day trip to Tahiti and Moorea. Perfect for a family or a couple - we were traveling with our small kid. The villa has everything and the location is amazing, nestled in nature with great views. Close to a lot of cool places for dinner or happy hours, close to excursion opportunities. We loved the peace and quiet as well the comforts.

Wow! There are few words to describe how happy we were here. Communication was amazing from start to finish. The home was beautifully and creatively laid out in an open bungalow style that made you feel as if you were a part of the surrounding nature and the beauty of the island. The private property as a whole includes additional bungalow style homes, though you felt like you were in your own sanctuary. The best part - our hosts! Special shout out to Leila & Frank! They were so kind and made us feel at home, they also helped us organize activities, shared their snorkel gear with us, and helped booked our local transportation to the ferry. There is a coral reef close by that you can see beautiful fish and sea life. The location was perfect. Next door is a boutique to buy gifts & Greg's where you could have local food and cold beer. There is also a bali massage place next door. Manava Resort is only a 15 minute walk as well, you are very much in the heart of Moorea staying here.

Gilles’s bungalow right on the water was perfect. Sit on the deck and watch all the life around. Gilles was so friendly offering fresh avocados, limes, and passion fruit from his garden. We had Coco Beach reservations and he called the owner to pick us up at his bungalow water side vs going in our rental car to the Coco Beach ferry parking lot. We were first to Coco Beach and got the prime table. Magasin Tiahura is an easy walk for groceries, morning coffee, and fresh pastries. Also walkable was Taoahere Beach House Snack. Had nice dinner there. If you don’t mind (we didn’t) walking 50ft outside to separate private bathroom building, then run, do not walk to book this property for your trip to Mo’orea!

As this was our first time in Tahiti, we found the place central to a lot of popular places. Our host, Jim, allowed us to check in early as our flight arrived at 8 am. The condo was great. Well kept and clean. We were within walking distance to the Merche, a couple of convenient stores to buys groceries, and plenty of good places to eat. There was a small Italian pizzeria named Le Sicilia de Tahiti that served surprisingly good pizza, focaccia and arancini. We thought this place was perfect for first time visitors to Tahiti.

The condo is sufficient for two adults, with air conditioning in the bedroom and a comfortable bed. There is an assigned parking spot for the unit as well. Some tweaks to the accommodation would enhance the overall experience by providing improved internet connectivity along with extra supplies, such as additional bed pillows, linens, blankets, towels, and paper products. The condo is conveniently located near the airport, the shopping district, and ferry terminal. This is a great option to consider for your visit to Tahiti.
