This guesthouse is a posterchild for a peaceful vacation! The pictures do not do it justice. We could not believe we got to stay at such an amazing guesthouse! Just the view from the entrance and watching my family dine in the kitchen while having a river in the background was a joy to behold! Could not be a more picturesque image. There is an indoor pool that the kids enjoyed while the adults chilled out on the deck that overlooks the river. There is also a nice garden outside with lush green grass to hang out at. The hosts were super responsive and attentive to our every need. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and truly enjoyed the place together rather than stay in separate rooms in a hotel. We are Airbnb hosts ourselves and are seldom "wowed" by other guesthouses. This one has by far exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend this guesthouse!

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff's, lovely and great first impression of property. Everything about the listing was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had complimentarybreakfast. Food was good and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The property was clean, well-maintained and had everything I needed. The host, Nikhil, is fantastic - he reached out beforehand to guide me on the best route and was always available to assist. He even helped me plan my trip itinerary and suggested amazing food joints to try. His enthusiasm to ensure I had the best experience was commendable. Overall, an excellent stay - Highly recommend!

The place is calm, beautiful, and scenic, as seen in the pictures. It's right on the banks of Suvarana river. The place has got everything you would need for a comfortable stay for 2-3 people. Proactive communication from Aldo & family - great host!! Helped us with local commuting and suggestions as required. It's not for someone who expects a hotel atmosphere and services. It's a homestay and every detail is communicated well in advance with honesty. You would need a bike/car for commuting, as the place is a bit far away from the main town. The host really was helpful in making arrangements. If you would like to chill and relax in a natural environment peacefully, The Riverside is a great choice!

this 3 bhk homestay is an excellent choice. the host made our stay comfortable and easy. it is a beautiful place to relax with family and friends. we enjoyed each bit of our time. highly recommend if u are planning to stay in karkala

A wonderful place to stay and relax. Beautiful and spacious old house converted to a heritage property with all modern amenities. Caretaker Ellamma is very friendly and helpful. She made out check in very easy. All the rooms were perfectly set as shown in the pictures. Padubidri beach is just 2 kms away. One of the most beautiful and well managed beaches I have seen so far. You can easily get transport from the circle nearby. Host is very humble and nice. She even allowed us 1 hour early check in. Got very good food and restaurant recommendations from her. Thank you so much for all your help to made our stay wonderful.

Good place right next to beach! A great sunset view. We had a good time with family.

I stayed at this place with 2 senior citizens, a 3yr old kid, a pet dog and my wife. All of them had a really good and peaceful time. Pravin was a great host and took care of all our needs. I would also highly recommend this place for pet owners as the house is pet friendly with a good garden area for the pet to roam. Pet food bowls and covers for sofa is also included in the house making it super pet friendly. beach is at walkable distance. they have wash area outside the house and we could wash our dog outside itself without having to worry about making a mess after beach visit. my dog definitely had some of her best days of her life, thanks to this stay. I would possibly plan a revisit in future. would highly recommend this stay! and yes, not to mention the neighbour who made some really delicious local cruise. it is must try for non locals! thank you Pravin for being such a wonderful host.
