Vacation rentals with lake access in Montgomery Village

Very clean and cozy. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever experienced.

Debbie took us in at the last moment (next day) and was kind and flexible when our arrival time kept changing. Her guest studio is spacious and clean, and the kitchen better outfitted than we expected from the pictures (there's an electric stove). While advertised as a "basement" studio, theree are windows looking out into the yard, which is quaint and a nice place to study. Whetstone lake is a 5 minute walk down the street, and a pleasant 30-60 minute to walk around it. Restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacy are a 10 minute walk from the house. NIST-Gaithersburg, our destination, is a 10 minute drive. So really this place is ideal for NIST visitors, as Debbie advertises. Bottom line: spacious, tidy, quaint and conveniently located for hikes, shopping/eating, and NIST. Thanks, Debbie!

Place was great. I had my grown children and grandkids stay here, a few blocks away from my house in the same neighborhood. My family had an easy time getting in late at night and finding there way around and they thought that everything was very clean, comfortable and nice.

Great place. Unique layout. Bed was comfortable and everything was as listed. Will stay again in the future.

Pilar was an exceptional host. The basement area we stayed was private, warm, cozy. Beds were exceptional. Well thought out amenities. Waters and snacks plentiful. Also Pilar and family were kind enough to let us leave a vehicle for the day in their driveway while we attended the commanders football game which by the way is only 2.5 miles away. We decided we will only stay with Pilar and family next time in town!

I attended a conference in DC with my research group, and this large house was ideal for us, on top of being a great value. It is about 6 miles from downtown, is very well equipped, and is in a nice and diverse neighborhood, with all kinds of restaurants and international grocery stores. The only thing one should be aware of, is traffic in and around Washington. We used the “leave later” feature in Waze to plan for the best departure time every morning. Highly recommended for any large family or group.

Our stay was great! They are really responsive to any question I had, the place was so clean, and I had a neat freak with us! :) We really enjoyed the gas fireplace (or whatever you call that) perfect backdrop to just sitting around with friends and catching up.

Enyong’s Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully planned. The location was perfect, and Enyong’s hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience! I recommend!!!

Stayed here during our bike ride on the C&O trail. It was about 1 mile off of the trail, and very easy to find. It was exactly what we needed. Multiple showers, two bedrooms, and laundry-everyone in our group was able to get refreshed for another day on the trail! There weren’t restaurants in the area, but plenty of options on DoorDash. Our beds were extremely comfortable. This was our best stay on the trail for sure!

Our stay at Hussain's apartment was very enjoyable. The full kitchen made it easy to purchase food and prepare it rather than going to restaurants every day, so we felt right at home. Hussain went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable and we enjoyed meeting him and getting to know him. The refrigerator was stocked with drinks and he even provided some toiletries in the bathroom that came in handy. The apartment location is close to lots of restaurants and entertainment in downtown Columbia, making it a convenient home base from which to explore. Thank you Hussain for a great stay. Ruth and Ed

Great place, great view, and easy access to the Mt. Vernon Trail.

I had a really great experience staying at this Airbnb! The place looks exactly like the photos. The check-in process was super easy, thanks to the clear instructions, and the hosts were really flexible with my schedule. The space itself was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed like blankets, plates, hangers, all the little things that make a place feel like home. The only thing to mention is that you can hear footsteps occasionally since it’s a basement, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Great stay, excellent location for our needs. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location near waterfront restaurants and activities and Metro. Apartment works for two people. Nice kitchen.
