Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Montgomery County

The house is beautiful and located in a convenient yet secluded location. The entrance way is so private and felt like driving into a wonderland. The view for foliage was amazing from the Adirondack chairs and the layout for all outdoor amenities are very well thought out and kept in great condition. We had a great time there and will visit again for the season.

We stayed with another couple for the first 2 nights of Dogs In A Pile at Putnam Place. A quiet, pretty neighborhood with an easy walk to downtown. Pristine accomodations, plenty of necessities like towels and bedding, the 2.5 baths was convenient and the qorking fireplace made for a cozy, relaxing living area. Highly recommend for couples getaways!

Great and quiet location. Kitchen was amazingly well stocked and just what we needed for our dinner and breakfast. Lots of complimentary items if someone forgot something. Place is even baby and pet ready if you needed. We even had plenty of deer to greet us in the morning right outside the sliding door.

Absolutely loved this house, this lake and surrounding area. The house was ideal for us. We had a full house with 10 guests for our son’s wedding. Could not have been more perfect. Adults loved the house, spa and views. Grandkids fell in love with the lake and dock. (And pet carp!) Rich was very helpful with questions and left clear instructions (and wonderful stories) at the house. We talked about coming back even before we left. Cheers!

We stayed at this house for parents' weekend at Hamilton College. It is a lovely small home with very spacious and comfortable common spaces (living room, dining room) where we enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day. Albert was very responsive with any questions that I had and was super friendly! We had a great visit and would definitely consider staying here again when we stay in the area.

Franca’s place was amazing. Beautiful home in a beautiful part of Schenectady. Her place was very quiet and very comfortable. It is an historical home, and so interesting in its history and detail. It was also super walkable to Proctors and other places we wanted to see. Franca was a terrific host- super responsive and had great suggestions for us to see and experience!

Brian and his team were very responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I am thankful for being able to enjoy this space while celebrating our wedding anniversary where we were engaged several years ago; Albany. When we revisit the area I will try and stay with Brian again! Thank you!

This place was an absolute gem! The unique addition of board games and arcade-style pinball machines made our stay so much fun—it felt like a mini retro game night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a playful and cozy getaway!

Melanie was super friendly & accommodating. The place was ready earlier than expected. It’s cute & cozy, perfect for a few days. The location is great. Very walkable. The Little Place on Main ( located next door) was great for breakfast. Affordable & delicious. Gigi’s on the other side was perfect for dinner, pizza or a sandwich. We enjoyed our stay very much.

What a delightful place and location, right on the river. And a very friendly, beautiful brown horse. Mara went the extra mile to make us welcome - Prosecco, milk and orange juice, English muffins, and so on. We were very happy to relax, read, watch a movie, and enjoy Saratoga. A great stay! Maryanne’s place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! It was cozy, quiet, and very clean. She had the fridge stocked with goodies, and delicious banana bread. There were trails on the property that made for a perfect morning walk. I would highly recommend if traveling to the Cooperstown area.

This is a remarkable apartment, right in the heart of Troy’s historic residential renaissance with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The architectural features are so beautiful, the beds so comfortable and plush, and the fireplace so cozy we did not want to leave. Michelle and Greg were wonderful hosts, very easy to work with. I look forward to another stay and to catch a great act at the Music Hall. Thanks for a great stay.
